Meerut, Uttar Pradesh in India: a father on the advice of a tantrik killed his 2-year-old daughter by strangling and then slitting the throat of the child. Turned in by the wife to the Kakrauli Police Station, both tantric and father were arrested. The reason for the murder was that the tantrik suggested a sacrifice to bring peace to the family and that the father stated that the daughter reminded him of a past girlfriend.

So if I'm correct, they suspected the Tantrik Sacrifice Ritual to be Muslim while it's actually an old Hindi practise? That's crazy. Sometimes this kind of things are caused by dogged fanstism really. Slitting a child's throat? That's a definite no! He should pay for the crime.

This is fucking barbaric, disgusting.
Any so-called religion that up to this point in history keeps this kind of rituals/traditions deserve to disappear from the face of earth.
I understand that within every religion there are crazy fucks that would take whatever teaching to unimaginable extremes. Those should have the same fate than their victims.
