AHRAZ - DENIZ GEZGIN

Hello.
I fight the flu for a few days. Actually, I am not fully recovered but still missed this place and wanted to share something. During this period, I constantly slept to rest my body. I read a book so as not to get bored while lying down. My friend suggested me to read this book. Although it was a thin book, its content was very full.

It tells the story of a boy named Israfil and his mother Adile.
Adile is a woman pushed aside by society. A mother withdrawn into herself. Because of the incident they live in, the society in the place where he lives sees him as a demon.

Although Deniz Gezgin is his first novel, I found it quite successful. This book tells how we exclude people who are different from us from society. We exclude people as if we are all perfect individuals. He conveyed it to us in a naive language.

Israfil is a deaf and dumb child. Maybe we should see it as a blessing for him to be like this. An innocent child who has never touched anyone, for he has never heard bad words all his life Israfil accepted to be pushed aside by society, and despite all this, he was still able to build a happy world for himself. As I read Adile and Israfil's struggle for survival and the difficulties they faced, I felt my heart was torn.

The author showed us happiness with this book. No matter how deeply we suffer, happiness is somewhere within us; No hatred or bullying can hurt him.
