¡Holaaaaaaa! queridísimos amigos de Hive Book Club
Desde que entramos a edad preescolar, los libros forman parte de nuestra formación. Desde aprender las vocales hasta conocer la historia del mundo. Es a través de ellos que nos informamos, crecemos intelectualmente, viajamos a través del tiempo y el espacio, conectamos con otras culturas.
Desde que tengo uso de razón, en mi hogar existía un rinconcito destinado para los libros. Mi madre, a pesar de no poseer un grado de instrucción universitaria, ha sido amante de los liros y su nivel cultural e intelectual es sorprendente. Ella es un libro gordo de Petete, a pesar que no ha salido del país, se conoce la historia, la geografía y muchas cosas más del mundo y su evolución y todo ha sido a través de los libros. Nos ha inculcado a mis hermanos y a mi el amor a ellos, y a pesar de hemos ido a la universidad y optado por títulos profesionales, no hemos llegado a su nivel de sabiduría.
Cuando me gradué de bachiller, mientras me llega la notificación de ingreso a la universidad, me aficioné a la lectura. Muy cerca de mi casa había una biblioteca pública dónde podía ir a retirar los libros y regresarlos a los tres días. Fueron dos meses que le dediqué a la lectura. Novelas como Canaima, Marianela, el Lazarillo de Torbes, Doña Bárbara, Oficina Nº5, entre otros fueron los que llenaron mis días de vacaciones.
Actualmente tengo un pequeño espacio en mi casa que alberga una biblioteca temática, muchos libros los he prestado sin retorno, otros los he donado para el disfrute de otras generaciones pero colecciono un sin fin de libros digitales que forman parte de mi cotidianidad y que me han transportado a otra dimensión. Es con la lectura que complemento mi día a día. Algunos los consigo en físico pero la mayoría son digitales.
Ahora me sumo al tercer concurso de esta grandiosa comunidad, gracias a la invitación de mi amiga @kattycrochet y aprovecho la oportunidad de invitar a @agathalara, @vicmito74 y a @majoboa18 a que se animen a contestar las preguntas tan interesantes de este concurso. Sin más, comencemos.
Helloooooo! dear friends of Hive Book Club
Since we entered preschool, books have been part of our training. From learning vowels to knowing the history of the world. It is through them that we inform ourselves, grow intellectually, travel through time and space, and connect with other cultures.
Since I can remember, in my home there was a little corner for books. My mother, despite not having a university degree, has been a lover of liros and her cultural and intellectual level is surprising. She is a fat book by Petete, even though she has not left the country, she knows the history, geography and many other things about the world and its evolution and everything has been through books. She has instilled in my siblings and in love for them, and despite having gone to college and opting for professional degrees, we have not reached her level of wisdom.
When I graduated from high school, while I received the notification of entrance to the university, I became fond of reading. Very close to my house there was a public library where I could go to pick up the books and return them after three days. It was two months that I dedicated to reading. Novels like Canaima, Marianela, Lazarillo de Torbes, Doña Bárbara, Oficina Nº5, among others, were the ones that filled my vacation days.
Currently I have a small space in my house that houses a thematic library, I have lent many books without return, others I have donated for the enjoyment of other generations but I collect endless digital books that are part of my daily life and that have transported to another dimension. It is with reading that I complement my day to day. Some I get physical but most are digital.
Now I am joining the third contest of this great community, thanks to the invitation of my friend @kattycrochet and I take the opportunity to invite @agathalara, @ vicmito74 and @ majoboa18 to be encouraged to answer the interesting questions of this contest. Without further ado, let's get started.
Me gusta leer en soledad y silencio, que nadie interrumpa mi lectura. Cuando comienzo un libro las emociones invaden mi sistema, muchas veces me concentro tanto en la lectura que no existe el tiempo. Generalmente tengo una hamaca en donde me recuesto a leer después de terminar las actividades del hogar. En otras ocasiones en mi cama, donde tengo una mesita de cama que me hizo mi sobrino especialmente para que colocara la laptop y pudiera leer cómodamente. Esos son mis sitios favoritos siempre y cuando haya silencio.
I like to read in solitude and silence, that no one interrupts my reading. When I start a book, emotions invade my system, many times I focus so much on reading that there is no time. I usually have a hammock where I lie down to read after finishing household activities. On other occasions in my bed, where I have a bedside table that my nephew made for me especially so that I could place the laptop and read comfortably. Those are my favorite places as long as there is silence.
Todos los libros poseen algo interesante a la que le puedes sacar provecho. Desde un cuento infantil, hasta un recetario de cocina. Recuerdo un tiempo que visitaba a mi abuelo y lo conseguía con libro de medicina natural. En eso entonces, tendría como 16 años de edad y esos temas no eran de mi interés hasta que un día me puso a leerlo. No sólo disfruté la lectura, sino la grata compañía de mi abuelo. Compartimos opiniones y hasta forma de preparar algunos remedios.
También es muy gratificante cuando te sientas a discutir o intercambiar opiniones con otra persona que ha leído el mismo libro o que se interesa en oírte contar el resumen del que lees.
De esto tengo muchas anécdotas. Cuando comprendí que la lectura era una forma de evadir tantos problemas a todos los que me visitaban los quería envolver en los libros que leía. Quería que se engancharan en la historia tanto como yo. Mi madre viene a pasar largos períodos conmigo, con ella comparto todo los que he leído y si le interesan le habilito la laptop para que los lea y luego compartimos emociones. Y no sólo eso, también compartimos saberes y algunas cosas que desconocemos investigamos y aprendemos juntas.
All books have something interesting that you can take advantage of. From a children's story to a cookbook. I remember a time when I visited my grandfather and I got it with a natural medicine book. At that time, he would be about 16 years old and those subjects were not of interest to me until one day he put me to read it. Not only did I enjoy the reading, but the pleasant company of my grandfather. We share opinions and even how to prepare some remedies.
It is also very gratifying when you sit down to discuss or exchange opinions with another person who has read the same book or who is interested in hearing you tell the summary of the one you read.
Of this I have many anecdotes. When I understood that reading was a way to avoid so many problems to all those who visited me, I wanted to wrap them in the books I read. I wanted them to get hooked on history as much as I did. My mother comes to spend long periods with me, with her I share everything I have read and if she is interested I enable her to read them and then we share emotions. And not only that, we also share knowledge and some things that we do not know, we investigate and learn together.
Muy pocas veces he leído al aire libre. En vehículos lo he intentado pero simplemente no puedo, el movimiento del vehículo hace que maree. Disfruto mucho la lectura a la hora de acosterme, muchas veces me centro tanto en la trama que las horas vuelan y me sorprende el amanecer. En otras ocasiones, he despertado de madrugada con insomnio y es la lectura quien me hace más fácil el momento. Nunca pensé que podría ser una adicta a la lectura.
I have seldom read outdoors. In vehicles I have tried but I simply cannot, the movement of the vehicle makes me dizzy. I really enjoy reading at the time of acosterme, many times I focus so much on the plot that the hours fly by and the dawn surprises me. On other occasions, I have woken up at dawn with insomnia and it is reading that makes the moment easier for me. I never thought I could be a reading addict.
La mayoría de los libros que leo son novelas de los géneros de romance, drama, intriga, comedia y suspenso. Estos libros te invitan a formar parte de ellos, a ser un personaje más de la historia o a identificarte con alguno de ellos. Yo vivo la lectura. Muchas veces mis hijas se han sorprendido porque me encuentran llorando, me escuchan reír a carcajadas, gritar de sorpresa o miedo. Cuando un libro logra que todas tus emociones se activen es porque es muy bueno. Todos transmiten una moraleja, en todos aprendes cosas nuevas. Son muchos los libros que he leído y puedo decirle que a través de ellos he mejorado mi léxico y cada libro es un aporte nuevo de conocimiento y sabiduría.
Most of the books I read are novels in the genres of romance, drama, intrigue, comedy, and suspense. These books invite you to be part of them, to be another character in history or to identify with one of them. I live reading. Many times my daughters have been surprised because they find me crying, they hear me laugh out loud, scream in surprise or fear. When a book gets all your emotions activated it is because it is very good. They all convey a moral, in all you learn new things. There are many books that I have read and I can tell you that through them I have improved my vocabulary and each book is a new contribution of knowledge and wisdom.
Atesoro mis libros con el alma. Tengo una biblioteca digital con más de 3000 libros que resguardo con recelo. Siempre estoy al día con lo nuevo y pertenezco a club de lectura digital donde compartimos opiniones y muchos de los libros que poseo son recomendados en estos grupos de lectura. Los libros son una ventana bien grande y abierta a todos y una vez que traspasas esa ventana es muy difícil salir.

I treasure my books with my soul. I have a digital library with more than 3000 books that I guard with suspicion. I'm always up to date with what's new and I belong to a digital reading club where we share opinions and many of the books I own are recommended in these reading groups. Books are a very large window open to everyone and once you go through that window it is very difficult to get out.

Hola @linita, me sentí muy identificada con tu escrito, yo también tuve mi época de ir a la biblioteca pública a devorar libros. También lloro y río con las novelas y libros de romance.
