         All right, I'm sure many of you have seen this photo already.

         From the image, we see the following text:

         The Bao Hu San part is actually not in the characters above. It's part of the 瑞蓝保護傘. The company name, 瑞蓝 , has a rough translation of auspicious blue (or lucky blue, if you prefer). That part is important for this post later. 保護傘 means protective umbrella, or something like that.

         Yes, it's interesting in a hilarious and terrifying fashion. Why would you choose your company logo after a popular video game franchise? Well, they claim to be working on genetics and immunology related stuff. You can read more on their company website.

         What? You can't read Chinese? That's your problem. Point being, I can't find any information about them having a lab in WuHan. The company website was not accessible a few days ago. Conspiracy was brewing then.

         So, why am I writing this? Because I am here to teach you some Resident Evil lore. But, this post is not game enough to warrant a SteemAce tag. I mean, this doesn't even qualify for a STEMGeeks post. Anyways...

         We all know the original Umbrella Corporation, which is an American company in the game. In fact, they sold bio-weapons to almost anyone who could afford it. What people don't realize is the changes that Umbrella underwent after its collapse. Some time around 2007, the US government restructured Umbrella. The logo went from red to blue.

         In short, the Blue Umbrella is more or less against bioterrorism. Whether you believe the same applies to the same company in Shanghai is up to you.

         Is the Blue Umbrella bad? Well, Chris Redfield led missions for them in Resident Evil 7. Of course, he doesn't trust them, but it is what it is.

         What exactly is happening in China right now? I'm sure their state media won't let us know the entire picture. Do you think there would be zombies running around? That's small time thinking. What if there were bio-weapons on the loose and the virus is a harbinger of that scenario?

         The source of the outbreak is unknown according to the CDC. If the patterns hold, it might be an animal source.

         It would appear the CDC hasn't updated its stats since yesterday. Should you panic? Most likely not. But, it is interesting to see where this will be going. They mentioned that 36 states have patients under investigation. The website doesn't tell you which 36. The only thing I know is that there were no suspected cases in Utah when I clocked out of work Wednesday morning.

         What I'm trying to say is...we in this together!
