Visit to the Hòffentol Waterfall, Trentino Alto Adige - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

Hello everyone, in the last post we visited the painted village of Guardia and this is exactly where this post begins.

Ciao a tutti, nell'ultimo post abbiamo visitato il paese dipinto di Guardia ed è proprio da lì che ha inizio questo post.

By doing research on the internet I had discovered that near Guardia there is a beautiful waterfall, so I had included it in my itinerary...

Facendo delle ricerche in internet avevo scoperto che vicino a Guardia c'è una bella cascata, così l'avevo inclusa nel mio itinerario...

As I tried to find my way, I looked at the landscape in ecstasy.

Mentre cercavo di orientarmi guardavo estasiato il paesaggio.

After identifying the route on a map at the service of visitors, I walked...

Dopo aver individuato il percorso su una cartina a servizio dei visitatori mi sono incamminato...

The indications to reach the Hoffental waterfall were clearly visible and I had no difficulty in taking the correct path.

Le indicazioni per raggiungere la cascata dell'Hòfffental erano ben visibili e non ho avuto difficoltà a imboccare il sentiero corretto.

Even on the walls of the more peripheral houses there were murals.

Anche sulle pareti delle case più periferiche c'erano dei murales.

Here is the only inhabitant I met...

Ecco l'unico abitante che ho incrociato...

A narrow but easy path slipped into the vegetation. I was amazed at the variety of flowers present.

Uno stretto ma agevole sentiero si infilava nella vegetazione. Ero stupito dalla varietà dei fiori presenti.

In some places the vegetation was sparser and I could see the surrounding mountains.

In alcuni tratti la vegetazione era più rada e riuscivo a vedere le montagne circostanti.

Then the path led deeper into the vegetation...

Poi il sentiero portava più in profondità nella vegetazione...

A wooden parapet skirted the path and making it safer.

ITA

Un parapetto in legno costeggiava il percorso e rendendolo più sicuro.

All of a sudden on the walk I was surprised by the amount of flowers that were there.

Ad un tratto della camminata sono rimasto sorpreso dalla quantità di fiori che c'erano.

I have never seen so many rhododendron flowers bloom in nature, all together.

Non ho mai visto così tanti fiori di rododendro fiorire in natura, tutti assieme.

With each step I took I felt the sound of water more and more present.

Ad ogni passo che facevo sentivo sempre più presente il suono dell'acqua.

Then, immediately after a 90 degree bend, here is the waterfall of Hòffental!

Poi, subito dopo una curva a 90 gradi, eccola la cascata di Hòffental!

The waterfall is 15 meters high.
There hasn't been any rain in the past few days so there wasn't a lot of water, but it was still very nice!

La cascata è alta ben 15 metri.
Non ci sono state piogge nei giorni scorsi quindi non c'era moltissima acqua, ma era comunque molto bello!

It would be the ideal place for a shooting with a model...who knows maybe in the future, I could even do it!

Sarebbe il posto ideale per uno shooting con una modella...chissà magari in futuro, potrei anche farlo!

Waterfalls have magical power, they put people in a good mood, they are liquid energy.

I would have been there for hours!

Le cascate hanno un potere magico, mettono le persone di buon umore, sono energia liquida.

Sarei stato lì per ore!

It was supposed to be the final stop of the day, but the path was too inviting not to go looking around!

Doveva essere la tappa finale della giornata, ma il sentiero era troppo invitante per non andare a curiosare oltre!

I still didn't know but continuing along the path I would have found a beautiful surprise!

Ancora non lo sapevo ma continuando lungo il sentiero avrei trovato una bellissima sorpresa!
