ENGLISH
THE AURA MYTH
Aura demanded revenge against the Hesperides; the daughters of Atlas, who sustain the world. Naughty nymphs burst in her farm; they mistreated the earth and traumatized her animals. There was a grudge that transcended in his personality.
Aura was hunting in a forest near the Tartessos, south of the garden where the nymphs dwelt. Nymphs saw her and judged her boldness, and with stealthy malice caused her disappointment. Aura witnessed the irruption to her home, and from that day on, she swore she would take reprisal.
She decided to desecrate the fruit of discord. A very dangerous act. She took an apple with golden sparkles and carried it to the forest. The Nymphs were furious, and they burned for her. But Aura waited for them using immortal arrows, ending the life of her wicked enemies.
It is said that after finishing them, Aura tasted the fruit and became immortal. But the Hesperides' tree cried out for its caretakers, and through its long roots it took the body of its murderer.
Since then, Aura was its guardian. Her eye fulminated the arrival of any thieving intruder. Until the end, when the tree succumbed, taking with it its only protector.
