An Intense Glow... or Two? [Shadow Hunters Contest - Round 196]

Good afternoon, Shadow Seekers!

Here is a photo from a church in Portugal, in the city of Mirandela. This church has a very common name: Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Encarnação meaning... Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation. There are dozens, if not hundreds of churches and chapels with the same name scattered all through our country. I guess that religious people aren't that creative! 🤭

There are a few details I enjoyed in this photo. The main one is that the sun was positioned right behind the church, which created this intense glow effect when its rays passed through the crystals at the top of the tower. 🌞
And also... a giant shadow.

Another funny detail: do you see the letters in the van parked in front of the Church? 🤔

It reads: "Brilho Intenso - Serviço Geral de Limpeza". This translates to "Intense Glow - General Cleaning Services". Yeah, I kid you not! That's really their company's name! 😅

So I guess that there are in fact two Intense Glows on this photo... and not just one!!!

The shadow created by the building is a large one... even though its shape is nothing interesting. Still, I hope you like my entry for the contest!
