Little Paw Prints In The Shadows

My entry into the Shadow Hunters contest by @melinda010100. Check her post Here for more info.

After a light dusting of snow, the baby squirrel, Tiny, tracks can be seen amongst the shadow of the back deck railing and the shadow of the euonymus plant. Tiny was running back and forth waiting for his morning treat.

If you are wondering how come the plant is still green during the cold weather -The euonymus plant is an evergreen that stays green all year. They make great hedges and I have quite a few in the front yard.

Euonymus plants add a nice slash of green to the landscape during the winter.

Animal footprints intrigue me Redheadpei, I see lots of seagulls footprints on the sand. Marley bulldog left her muddy footprint on the deck, we left them for a month or so.

I still see one of my cat’s (the Maine Coon Cat, Houlton) little footprints in the cement floor of the front deck. It sure is a reminder of of him. 💗
