Después de mi participación en el concurso #cazadores de sombras confieso que quede con ganas de más.

Soy aficionada a la fotografía, mi experiencia en este campo no transciende más allá de tomar fotos familiares, paisajes, flores y cualquier otra cosa, pero sin ningún tipo de conocimiento técnico ni profesional.

Por eso tal vez siento tanta emoción de traer hoy estas fotos que tarde varios días para montar. Confieso que fue como si volviera al pasado, a mis años de niña cuando jugaba con las sombras, y ¿quién de nosotros no ha hecho figuras de animales con las manos y las ha proyectado como sombras?

Esta vez prepare todo un proyecto, se llama Fiesta Barbie. Luces y Sombras.

Todo surgió gracias a que una de estas noches me levanté de madrugada a mi cocina, y cuando regresaba al dormitorio vi como en la oscuridad, se formaban sombras muy definidas en mis paredes, se debe a que tengo muchos ventanales en mi casa y precisamente la casa de al lado tiene unos focos que permiten hacer este juego perfecto de sombras. Así que no perdí tiempo en buscar las muñecas de mi hija y hacer todo el montaje para la fiesta.

Ahora bien, si era una fiesta debía haber luces y brillo, sí, así como lo leen. ¿Cómo lograrlo? Me tomó otro día pensar como conseguiría brillo entre las sombras, quería un efecto como el de las discotecas con oscuridad pero con luces láser y bolas de vidrios.

Pues ya lo tenía, hice un colgante con una gema de fantasía de un collar que hiciera las veces de bola de cristal. Pero
Tenía que mantener mi cocina con oscuridad y solo la luz de la casa vecina permitía la formación de las sombras pero la bola de cristal solo hacia unos débiles destellos.

¿Qué haría para conseguir el efecto deseado?

pasé otro día buscando objetos y artefactos que me pudieran ayudar, y de pronto allí estaba entre las herramientas un distanciometro o medidor láser, ya tenía el proyecto completo para mi fiesta.

That's perhaps why I feel so excited to bring these photos today that took me several days to assemble. I confess that it was as if I was going back to the past, to my childhood years when I played with shadows, and who of us has not made animal figures with our hands and projected them as shadows?

This time I prepared a whole project, it's called Fiesta Barbie. Lights and Shadows.

It all came about because one of these nights I got up early in the morning to my kitchen, and when I was returning to the bedroom I saw how in the dark, shadows were formed very defined on my walls, it is because I have many windows in my house and precisely the house next door has some lights that allow this perfect game of shadows. So I wasted no time in looking for my daughter's dolls and making the whole set up for the party.

Now if it was a party there had to be lights and glitter, yes, just as you read it. How to achieve this? It took me another day to figure out how I would get glitter in the shadows, I wanted a disco-like effect with darkness but with laser lights and glass balls.

Well, I already had it, I made a pendant with a fancy gem from a necklace that would act as a glass ball. But
I had to keep my kitchen dark and only the light from the neighboring house allowed the shadows to form but the crystal ball only made a few faint sparkles.

What would I do to achieve the desired effect?

I spent another day looking for objects and artifacts that could help me, and suddenly there among the tools was a laser distance meter, I had a complete project for my party.

Yes friends turn off the lights and turn on the music because we are about to start the Barbie Party.

Friends, I became a little girl again with my daughter, we danced and played dolls and we printed that touch of fantasy that technology can give.

Dear readers, imagination has no limits, I will keep looking for shapes in the shadows, to recreate new fantasies, I'm going for more.
