Thanks to everyone who submits such wonderful posts into the Feathered Friends Community! I love seeing all the new posts each day and learning about so many of the birds that live in our world with us.

A reminder to new members that single photo posts, no matter how wonderful the photo, will not be curated by OCD. You must create a quality post with a couple of photos and text telling us about your photos to receive the possibility of a curation nomination.

We recently have had a scammer entering posts into the Feathered Friends Community from a couple of different accounts. @piterfrank and @arslan123 have both been determined by Hivewatchers and OCDabuse to be scam accounts. They have been muted in our Community. We are asking the community to help detect scammers so that our votes are not wasted on them.

All of us in the Feathered Friends Community are grateful for the support we receive from @acidyo and #OCD with their Community Incubation Program and to @barbara-orenya for being such a wonderful curator for our Community!

  • Sorry for posting into the wrong community! That's what I get for posting at 5am when I am not feeling well!

Been a rash of these things as of late.

I'll bet you are right! I couldn't imagine why they were all lined up there, but free popcorn would be worth waiting for!

Cheetah is not working and Hivewatchers lost their funding for a while. It shows how necessary they are.

Yep there are always bugs that need fixing.

"There are birds of Opportunity, then there are the birds that make their own opportunities."
Vancouver Parks are notorious for birds such as gulls and crows, to name a few, picnic raiders, tube steak snatchers, and Popcorn tippers. Don't underestimate those pigeons either.

Thanks, Joan. It's been a rough week, but I do seem to be moving easier today and I am looking forward to a good week!
