Reflection Hunters Contest, Round # 16: Vintage Charm
Talking about something with the implicit qualification of vintage, always means an invitation to the past and also to rummage inquisitively in that metaphorical trunk of memories, to which we all usually go when nostalgia knocks on the door of our feelings. Such would be the case, for example, of this peculiar and valuable table service, made by the German artist Christian Winter in 1750 and which is currently part of the Permanent Collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid. Definitely, the incredible pieces that it contains, whose elegance is reflected in the mirror embedded in the dust jacket, can bring us fond memories of those joyful country and family days, which we all may find known at some point in our lives.
