Reflection Hunters Contest Round 20 Entry ~ A Slice Of Sky

This is my entry and post for the Reflection Hunters Contest Round 20 by @annephilbrick in conjunction with the Shadow Hunters Community. You can read more about the contest and how to enter HERE!

This first photo showing "a slice of sky" is my entry for the contest!

I took all of my photos while on a trail at the Little Gunpowder Falls State Park in Baltimore County, Maryland. I used two different cameras to take my photos and each photo seemed to pick up a different hue of blue depending in the camera and from where I was standing when I took the photo. I chose the first photo as my entry because it picked up other bits of blue in the drier or muddier parts of the small trail of water.

As I was walking up to the spot where I photographed the reflection I saw the pretty blue slice ahead and when I got closer I saw that it was a reflection of the sky, as well as some foliage, on some barely there water.

I immediately thought to myself "what a beautiful slice of sky that lay upon the water"!

It was like God cut out that slice of sky and laid it down right there for me! I believe in God and Jesus Christ so I guess every time I happen upon a beautiful "slice" of scenery then I do believe it was put there for me (and others) by Him. It also makes me feel like He has been pretty generous with me lately when it comes to things like that and other things as well which makes me very thankful indeed! 💖
