Before the "single lever" the water from the sink was mixed by acting on two different taps, one for hot water and the other for cold water, to obtain the desired temperature.

Prima del “monocomando” l'acqua del lavandino si miscelava agendo su due rubinetti differenti, uno dell'acqua calda e l'altro dell'acqua fredda, per ottenere la temperatura desiderata.
