Modern bridges are, without a doubt, marvelous feats of engineering! Not only are they beautiful works of art, but they are also massive structures designed to withstand the forces of nature. The Akashi-Kaikyo Suspension Bridge is no exception because of its ingenious ability to survive the frequent earthquakes of the country of Japan (definitely not an easy endeavor!). The engineers, builders, and workers of this renowned bridge deserve all the credit! Thank you @marcosmilano71 for highlighting the 23rd annual anniversary of this man-made wonder!

Te confieso que no acostumbro a escribir post de este estilo cuando no conozco el lugar o la estructura; sin embargo, recordé la anécdota que conte de la investigación que hizo en 1998 mi amigo y colega; además, me motivé porque es una obra hermosa y majestuosa de la ingeniería moderna, además leyendo me encontré con el dato que dice: "la costa meridional de Honshū esta bañada por el mar de Filipinas" e inmediatamente recordé a mis amigos @discoveringarni y @storiesoferne Por esa razón me aventuré a escribir. También es justo homenajear, reconocer y darle crédito a todos los que estuvieron involucrados con el trabajo del puente.
