| MY PERSONAL OFFICE SPACE / My world surprising

Friends here I am, although it seems late, it is not to show me from my personal workspace.

All this pandemic wave takes us to the next level of the digital age, although not yet the highest, especially in Venezuela, which is why I was late to the contest organized by the wonderful Community of Arquitectura + Diseño. The truth friends, is that technological evolution is helping us in something, to face this crucial stage in the history of humanity in the modern era.

On the other hand, for people like me, aspergers, we do not like this life in quarantine as for most, although I regret their suffering, as some have fallen into depression. That part of this situation on the planet is not pleasant.

In the same way, I must clarify in my presentation of my workspace at home, that I like life in my quiet and reserved world. I've always enjoyed it and those around me respect me and those who don't, hold on. This is very important for me and for everyone, because I will always remain calm deeply concentrated on my responsibilities in "my place" (my world), so I will not leave anything that I have to do pending. With a bit of music, from instrumental to electronic, from my laptop I get better at hand and abstract myself to get to work on the next project.

Amigos aquí estoy, aunque parezca tarde, no lo es para mostrarme desde mi espacio personal de trabajo.

Toda esta onda pandémica nos lleva al siguiente nivel de la era digital, aunque todavía no el más alto, especialmente en Venezuela, razón por la que llego fuera de tiempo al concurso organizado por la maravillosa Comunidad de Arquitectura + Diseño. Lo cierto amigos, es que la evolución tecnológica nos está ayudando en algo, para enfrentar esta etapa crucial de la historia de la humanidad en la era moderna.

Por otro lado, para personas como yo, aspergers, no nos cae mal esta vida en cuarentena como para la mayoría, aunque lamento el sufrimiento de ellos, pues algunos han caído en depresión. No es agradable esa parte de esta situación en el planeta.

De igual forma, debo aclarar en mi presentación de mi espacio de trabajo en casa, que me gusta la vida en mi mundo tranquilo y reservado. Lo disfruto desde siempre y quienes me rodean me respetan y los que no, se aguantan. Esto es muy importante para mí y para todos, porque siempre seguiré tranquilo concentrado profundamente en mis responsabilidades en "mi lugar" (mi mundo), así que no dejaré pendiente nada que tenga que hacer. Con un poco de música, desde instrumental hasta electrónica, desde mi computadora portátil me dispongo mejor y me abstraigo para poner manos a la obra al proyecto que sigue.

I like what I have at home for now, in a corner of my room, with its blue curtains, combined with yellow and white walls. You can not miss the white to illuminate and expand the small space.

Este es mi lugar en casa.

Me gusta lo que tengo por ahora en casa, en un rincón de mi habitación, con sus cortinas en azul, combinado con paredes en amarillo y blanco. No puede faltar el blanco para iluminar y ampliar el espacio pequeño.

My workspace has everything I need to inspire me and develop my ideas. Although internet reception is serious and more so when we are in a thriving digital life. But still, I feel good in my environment where I get inspired and develop my work.

I'm happy. It is my surprising world and in achieving surprise. A small wooden table, which for me is comfortable and enough for now to place my laptop, with a strong bench to sit in front of it and also made of natural wood, this one made from saman tree. My white drawing table is as vital a piece as the little blue wastebasket that you see there. The latter is like a complement because there should not be a bad piece of paper since it messes up my eyes. I also have on hand my blueprint holder and design briefcase, which has helped me to transfer my freehand drawings from other drawing studios, while at the same time I carry those of architecture.

Mi espacio de trabajo tiene todo lo que necesito para inspirarme y desarrollar mis ideas. Aunque es grave la recepción de internet y más cuando estamos en una pujante vida digital. Pero con todo, me siento bien en mi ambiente donde me inspiro y desarrollo mi trabajo.

Soy feliz. Es mi mundo sorprendente y en el logro sorprender. Una pequeña mesa de madera, que para mí es cómoda y suficiente por ahora para colocar mi computadora portátil, con un banco fuerte para sentarme frente a ella y también de madera natural, ésta de árbol de samán. Mi mesa blanca de dibujo, es una pieza tan vital como la pequeña papelera azul que allí ven. Esta última es como un complemento porque no debe haber un papelito mal puesto que me desordene la vista. Igualmente tengo a la mano mi porta planos y maletín de diseño, el cual me ha servido para trasladar mis dibujos a mano alzada de otros estudios de dibujo, mientras a la par llevo los de arquitectura.

Some of my university works cannot be absent regardless of their time, such as models and plans that will serve as a reference for other works. And down there, you see the specialized magazines for architecture, interior design and car design, because I love automotive design. Of those I would love to have more, they give a special touch to my workspace. They identify me.

Algunos de mis trabajos de universidad no pueden faltar sin importar el tiempo de ellos, como maquetas y planos que servirán para referencia de otros trabajos. Y allí abajo, ven las revistas especializadas de arquitectura, diseño de interiores y diseño de autos, porque me encanta el diseño automotriz. De esas me encantaría tener más, ellas le dan un toque especial a mi espacio de trabajo. Me identifican.

In case of new options

Do I dare to change?

Why not? Well, I don't close myself to them. That would be refusing to believe in progress. Beyond how linear it can be as an asperger, there are aspirations only that I do not complain about what I have and more because it works very well for me. I have created my refuge in my real space, which is what I have for now.

¿Por qué no? Pues no me cierro a ellas. Eso sería negarme a creer en el progreso. Más allá de lo lineal que pueda ser como asperger, existen aspiraciones solo que no me quejo por lo que tengo y más porque me funciona muy bien. He creado mi refugio en mi espacio real, que es con el que cuento por ahora.

Sin embargo, aquí les presento mis tres propuestas de espacios de trabajo, que en caso de tenerlos, pudieran ser mis favoritos:

If it is something improvised, I have no problem with this simple but cozy proposal, which suggests an intimate space, reserved for the necessary tranquility when it comes to creativity and concentration. Well, only a table, a chair and a computer are useful. The table is very necessary for me as an architect, as a draftsman, as a designer, although with AutoCAD and all the existing digital options for design it is current, and more in a pandemic, so a computer is the master tool.

The blue color in a dark tone on the walls, with the table in black tone pleases me, they give it a modern, sober and hidden look, contrasted with the chair in style that suggests the natural and some elements in white illuminate the small space that perhaps for some it is very closed. But remember, I speak to you from my world, my particular and autistic perspective. The more reserved and hidden the better.

Si de algo improvisado se trata no tengo problema con esta propuesta sencilla pero acogedora, que sugiere un espacio íntimo, reservado para la tranquilidad necesaria a la hora de la creatividad y la concentración. Pues solo una mesa, una silla y una computadora son útiles. La mesa es muy necesaria para mí como arquitecto, como dibujante, como diseñador aunque con AutoCAD y todas las opciones digitales existentes para diseño es lo actual, y más en pandemia, por lo que una computadora es la herramienta maestra.

El color azul en un tono oscuro en las paredes, con la mesa en tono negro me agrada, le dan un aspecto moderno, sobrio y oculto, contrastado con la silla en estilo que sugiere lo natural y algunos elementos en blanco iluminan el pequeño espacio que quizás para algunos sea muy encerrado. Pero recuerden, les hablo desde mi mundo, mi óptica particular y autista. Mientras más reservado y oculto mejor.

A very cozy, sober and orderly space. As you will see, there is a wide table or desk, the device for digital work or computer, these are very important. As well as shelves, a table lamp, ceiling lights and natural light through the window. The main table in dark wood color, this can be natural or applied in Formica veneer. All the elements together give it the modern classic touch. Not forgetting the silver tube swivel chair upholstered in gray, which together with the shelves fulfill the function of giving modernity to the environment.

The combination of the colors is ideal, it is relaxing for those who enjoy working in an immaculate almost heavenly environment I would say. The turquoise walls combined with white and the wall with slabs in greenish gray and white, in addition to the curtain, give the work area an enlargement and luminosity. As you can see, the long curtain covers the window, perfect for when more privacy is required.

The lighting from the ceiling is sufficient, for those of us who work at any time, and this light is very necessary at night.

Un espacio muy acogedor, sobrio y ordenado. Como verán, está presente una mesa amplia o escritorio, el dispositivo para el trabajo digital o computador, estos muy importantes. Así como repisas, una lámpara de mesa, luces en el techo y luz natural a través del ventanal. La mesa principal en color madera oscuro, esta puede ser natural o aplicación en chapilla de formica. Todos los elementos juntos le dan el toque clásico moderno. Sin olvidar la silla giratoria de tubo plateado y tapizada en gris, que junto a las repisas cumplen la función de dar modernidad al ambiente.

La combinación de los colores es ideal, es relajante para quien disfruta del trabajo en un ambiente inmaculado casi celestial diría yo. Las paredes en turquesa combinadas con blanco y la pared con lajas en gris verdoso y blanco, además de la cortina dan la ampliación y luminosidad al área de trabajo. Como ven la larga cortina tapa el ventanal, de manera perfecta para cuando se requiere de mayor privacidad.

La iluminación desde el techo es suficiente, para quienes trabajamos a cualquier hora, y esta luz es muy necesaria en las horas nocturnas.

Comfort, shelter, order, are the three words that came to mind when I saw this work environment at home. With a large built-in cabinet designed in an L, with many drawers and air spaces to keep everything you need neatly in one place. Just the apex for the chair and the computer, it has excellent built-in lighting. An environment in light tones, white in the wooden embedment and floor in gray, white and ocher tones that simulate pine wood. Everything is harmonious, relaxing, sublime and welcoming, these last four words came when I finished contemplating this environment as a place to work from home.

Comodidad, refugio, orden, son las tres palabras que me vinieron a la mente cuando vi este ambiente de trabajo en casa. Con un gran mueble empotrado diseñado en L, con muchas gavetas y espacios aéreos para guardar ordenadamente en un mismo lugar todo lo necesario. Justo el vértice para la silla y la computadora, cuanta con una excelente iluminación incorporada. Un ambiente en tonos claros, blanco en el empotramiento de madera y piso en tonos grises, blancos y ocres que simulan madera de pino. Todo es armonioso, relajante, sublime y acogedor, estas cuatro últimas palabras surgieron al terminar de contemplar este ambiente como lugar para trabajar desde casa.

To end...

At the end I clarify that swivel chairs are not to my liking, I prefer chairs that give me more stability. That they keep me in balance :D

And another truth is that any new work environment, even in the top of a tree, would be very ideal as long as it has a normal internet signal. I must admit that this is what I need at home, and it is very necessary for digital entrepreneurship, since working from home is the best option due to the pandemic.

Para terminar...

Ya finalizando hago la aclaratoria que las sillas giratorias no son de mi agrado, prefiero las sillas que me den más estabilidad. Que me mantengan en equilibrio :D

Y otra verdad, es que cualquier ambiente nuevo de trabajo, así sea en la copa de un árbol, sería muy ideal mientras tenga una normal señal de internet. Eso debo reconocer que es lo que me hace falta en casa, y es muy necesario para emprendimiento digital, pues trabajar desde casa es la mejor opción por la pandemia.
