On the day of love and friendship, also called, Valentine's Day, I will present you as the red color, can and applies to interior decoration. It is known that because of its strong and striking tone, it usually makes the sight of visitors uncomfortable, or can even saturate the spaces, so it is limited, to small elements such as carpets, paintings, cushions and furniture. Today, however, it has become another alternative or option for decorating entire areas of the home.
Proper use of red inside the home can significantly transform your spaces, such as, bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, bathrooms, and much more space, always considering, not saturating the whole house with that color, unless you want it.

En el día del amor y la amistad, también llamado, Día de San Valentín, les presentaré como el color rojo, puede y se aplica a la decoración de interiores. Se sabe que por su tono fuerte y llamativo, suele incomodar la vista de los visitantes, o hasta puede llegar a saturar los espacios, por lo que se limita, a elementos pequeños como, alfombras, cuadros, cojines y muebles. Sin embargo, hoy en día se ha convertido en una alternativa u opción más para decorar áreas completas del hogar.
El uso correcto del color rojo en el interior del hogar puede transformar significativamente sus espacios, tales como, habitaciones, cocina, sala, comedor, baños, y mucho mas espacios, siempre teniendo en cuenta, no saturar toda la casa con ese color, al menos que usted lo desee.

The combination of red with white in the top image, gives a feeling of perfection. White as a secondary color in this decoration, represents a fresh and clean atmosphere. Red as the primary color represents energy and leadership. Although the red color is intense, when combined with white, it balances it allowing a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere.
Below I will show you more ideas to decorate the living area with the combination of these two colors, red as the main and white as a companion.
La combinación del color rojo con el blanco en la imagen superior, da una sensación de perfección. El blanco como color secundario en esta decoración, representa un ambiente fresco y limpio . El rojo como color primario, representa la energía y el liderazgo. Aunque el color rojo sea intenso, al combinarlo con el blanco, este lo balancea permitiendo un ambiente agradable y armónico.
A continuación les mostrare mas ideas para decorar el área de la sala con la combinación de estos dos colores , rojo como el principal y blanco como acompañante.
KITCHEN

The kitchen, is an excellent place where we can use this intense color, red awakens the feeling of appetite, usually brings an original and subtle touch to the kitchen area, the ideal is to combine them with light colors. It should be noted that the red color, is not found in all the elements, that is, if you decide to put this color in the kitchen, you should be careful not to have it on the wall and in the furniture of the kitchen, since you would saturate the whole space. In addition, if you apply this color, only on the furniture, it should be combined with light colors, as can be seen in the image above, the white color can be replaced by a light color or a gray color.
If you decide to put red on the wall surface, this would give you many more options for kitchen furniture, as long as you use a color that highlights the red of the wall.

La cocina, es un excelente lugar en donde podemos usar este intenso color, el rojo despierta la sensación del apetito, suele aportar un toque original y sutil al área de la cocina, lo ideal es combinarlos con colores claros. Se debe tomar en cuenta que el color rojo, no se encuentre en todo los elementos, es decir, si se decide poner este color en la cocina, se debe tener la precaución de no disponerlo en la pared y en el mobiliario de la cocina, ya que saturarías todo el espacio. A demás, en caso de aplicar este color, solo en el mobiliario, este debe estar combinado con colores claros, como se puede observar en la imagen superior, el color blanco se puede sustituir por un color claro o un gris.
Si decides poner el rojo en la superficie de la pared, esto te brindaría muchas mas opciones para el mueble de la cocina, siempre y cuando utilices un color que haga resaltar el rojo de la pared.
A continuación se presentan diferentes ideas para disponer este color rojo en el área de la cocina.
BATHROOM

We know that one of the smallest spaces in the house, usually the bathroom, so decorating or giving a style to this space is usually a little complicated, lighting is one of the most important aspects, another aspect is the space, so, to decorate the bathroom should be used and combine colors that provide warmth and amplitude. Ideally, light colors should be used to provide the feeling of spaciousness and lighting.
For very dark baths or with little natural lighting, the red color combined with white, bring good lighting and elegance to the space.
Sabemos que uno de los espacios mas pequeño de la casa, suele ser el cuarto de baño por lo que decorar o dar un estilo a este espació suele ser un poco complicado, la iluminación es uno de los aspectos mas importante, otro aspecto es el espacio, por lo que, para decorar el baño se deben usar y combinar colores que brinden calidez y amplitud. Lo ideal sería usar colores claros para brindar la sensación de amplitud e iluminación.
Para los baños muy oscuros o con poca iluminación natural, el color rojo combinado con el blanco, aportan una buena iluminación y elegancia al espacio.

In case the bathroom area is wide at the design level, the red color next to black, presents a good result, since red provides the lighting while the black provides prestige and elegance.
En caso de que el área del baño sea amplia a nivel de diseño , el color rojo junto al negro, presenta un buen resultado, ya que el rojo aporta la iluminación mientras que el negro aporta prestigió y elegancia.

In feng shui and in color theory, the red color represents the fire element and is considered the strongest color. It is passionate and intense so I agree with what you mentioned, it should be used sparingly and balanced well with neutral hues.
