The fountain and the gardens evoke the distribution of the central courtyards of the old colonial houses, convents, seminaries or educational precincts. Many civil, religious and military constructions had a central courtyard which, generally, was uncovered and on the sides of the building were the rooms or covered spaces. The Federal Legislative Palace has the same design. In addition, in the Capitol there are other spaces of great importance for the Nation such as: the Hemicycles of Sessions and the Protocol, the Elliptical Room, the Triptych Room and the Shield Room.

Want to have your post on the map too?
Hola amigo @feiderman Si, tienes razón, existe mucha arquitectura, mucha vida urbana.
a really nice post with a nice description. Interesting building and beautiful architecture. Thanks you for sharing.
Hello @ stefano.massari Thank you for your comment. Yes, it is, a very interesting Palace with a lot of history. Thanks for reading this post, greetings and blessings.
Hello @marcosmilano71 I loved the place, it's beautifully planned. Actually the most lucrative part is the central courtyard. since a lot of history is connected with the structure it becomes more valuable.
Keep flourishing always and stay safe.
Hello friend @praditya Thank you for your comment. Yes, the central courtyard of the Federal Legislative Palace is very beautiful. The beautiful gardens and palm trees that adorn it make it fresh and welcoming. One of the ornamental pieces that attracts the most attention and that in a way is the symbol of the Palace is the Fountain, full of history and modernity, which was made by the Val de Osné company, of French origin, and brought to Venezuela between the years 1873 - 1874. This piece of iron and concrete. Thanks for your comment. Greetings and blessings.

Goodmorning @marcosmilano71 It's good to see you out and about in the city. The design of the structure reflects it's culture and history. The huge ceilings and beautiful landscaping makes this place more welcoming.
Keep sharing your experiences.
Enjoy the weekend!
Hello @ sahiba-rana I greet you with great respect from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Thanks for your comment. Yes, the Capitol is very cozy, it is a beautiful, large Palace with many spaces that keep a lot of history, art of great symbolism and importance for our Nation. The entire structure was designed and built according to the architectural canons of the 19th century and the initial part of the 20th. The ceilings of the rooms are in some cases decorative stained glass and in other works of art that show our independence feat and other relevant reasons. Thanks for your comment. Greetings and blessings.

Hello friend Marcos. Being a National Heritage Site, the Federal Legislative Palace is one remarkable building that's worthy of its architectural legacy. I particularly love this photo angle below as it clearly shows the magnificence and grandeur of that historic monument.
What were some of your emotional experiences, if any, with that building @marcosmilano71?
You tell me that you love the angle of the photo that you present to me because it clearly shows the magnificence and grandeur of that historical monument. Thus, it is in this iconic site that most of the attendees of the protocol events take the official photograph.

Hello friend Erne @storiesoferne, as promised, here I leave you images of my visit to the Palace with my students. This was the last guided visit that I did with the Students of the San Martín de Porres de Guatire School, on February 22, 2008. Professor Luis Pedraza, a professor of Social Studies, accompanied me here. The photographs do not look good but here is the proof hehehehehehe
