Hello everyone, I'm @deltasteem from Indonesia, I work in furniture and this is my real world activity.

Last week I made napan using wood waste and after I processed the waste into a very beautiful and interesting napan and this week I tried to make a flower vase.

So, in the last two days I've been trying to make a small vase for my own use by utilizing wood waste and I've only made it in two simple colors and it might look quite interesting.

I try to make this flower vase in a very simple way or in two colors so that #hivers friends can easily follow the manufacturing process which is made from wood waste, for the materials and the process you can follow according to what I explain in here.

This is a mini flower vase measuring 12x15cm for the manufacturing process, I prepared two 1x4cm red wood for the left and right which I have trimmed and this is part of the floor of the flower vase, then for color variations on the floor I give a trim (colored wood). yellow) with two 1x1cm size and for additional color variations, in the middle of the floor I give brown wood measuring 1x2cm.

Next, you need to prepare wood glue, as an adhesive material to hold the wood together, starting from the floor of the vase to the walls and you need to prepare wooden clamps and here I use mini wooden clamps made of plastic.

** Wall gluing process. **
For the wall gluing process, you can follow as I did ..

I have prepared a wood measuring 1.8 x 2.5 cm and for the wall wood of this mini flower vase, I use one color wood so that the work is easy and the wood on the walls is thick with the floor of the flower vase which is different in size because this serves to make it easier for me, when I give flowers to wood using a router machine so that the wood is not damaged when exposed to the machine's eye.

Next I give wood glue to the wood part which I will stick to the floor surface for the flower vase wall, so that the glue can work well here I use wood clamp clamps.

After I attached the left-right wall to the flower vase, I put the wood for a few hours so that the wood glue could work properly on the wood joints and after the wood glue was dry, this is how the flower vase wall looks like that has been blended with the floor.

For the next process of gluing the width on the wall of the vase, you can see it in the picture below.

After all the parts of the wall have finished the gluing stages, this is the result of the mini flower vase.

Obviously it looks untidy, so I use a mini wood shaved machine to tidy up all the uneven wood parts.

Then we enter the last 2 stages in the manufacturing process and for this level of refining we have to do it gradually, first I use a smoothing paper which is a bit coarse and in the process I did it manually, namely rubbing the entire surface with my hands and the help of a smoothener paper.

logo-3.png

However in my mini vase refining process, I only used 3 different stages of smoothing paper, you can see the final result of the refining process in the image below.

After all the processes are complete, then the process of giving flowers to the corner of the wall of this mini flower vase makes it look more attractive and in this process I use a router machine, you can see the process in the picture below.

And after the process of giving flowers to the entire outside of the mini flower vase, then I smoothed it a little on the former eye of the router machine, this is the result.

Then for the painting stage, I use transparent paint so that the wood will bring out a natural color and in this process I do it manually using a paint brush and the result is like this.

This is the result of my craft in processing waste wood that is not valuable into a valuable home furniture material that I can use in my daily life and for this mini flower vase I will use it for my own purposes

Hopefully the way I work here, can be useful for all of you, because this is one way to take advantage of the wood waste that is around you and to produce a flower vase that is more attractive and unique, it is necessary to mix several other wood colors.

Thank you and my greetings @deltasteem.

Good job again, I love your works, it may be simple, but a philosopher once said "Simplicity in character, in manners, in style; in all things the supreme excellence is simplicity".

What a cool project @deltasteem! Keep up the excellent work. May I ask how much would the price for each flower vase be if sold?

Thank you @storyferne

if I vary the many colors on the wood, I sell it for $ 4.

sometimes I sell it to coffee sellers, they wrap it in coffee packets as a gift for multiple coffee purchases.
