A Glimpse of the Gathering of Men with Their Colorful Roman Soldier Costumes -Lively Moriones Festival in the Town Center

I mentioned in my article about the opening for Moriones Festival here in Bansud. They had a parade the other day and though I want to snaps photos while they'd parading in the highway, I was not in the mood back then and I am too lazy to get my phone inside my room haha. I was outside that time tending to this lil cutie here

It's our Bunsoy, I was bottle feeding her milk that time and I know I am not fast enough to run in my room to get my phone so I give up taking photos of those beautiful men in their roman soldier costumes. And the truth is, they're walking a bit faster because its really hot that morning. Another thing, I already know that they will have their gathering in the town center so I decided that when we visit the market, we will just check them there.

And that happened today, that fast, I found them in the same spot like last year and they were surrounded by people who wants ro watch and take selfies with them. Ah, but in the afternoon they move in other place like in the Park, of course stopping by in different place is much better right? But anyways, they are gathered on this spot and I am lucky to see them here today. I was fast to get my phone in my wallet and open the camera, lol

Look at them. I think tall men with good physique looks really beautiful and cool in this costume. They all look mighty and brave. But there are helmets that really looks scary, there are some with handsome helmet but there are scary and cute too haha. I remember those times where I am too afraid to even see or get closer to then. I'd cry (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠). But to be honest, I kinda still get startled at them, I don't know, maybe my childhood fears on them is still here, stuck in my head? Lolol

So, I am not sure how many are the participants this year, maybe some of them are already gathered in Plaza. And did y'all see those watchers there? But if they were gathered in the park, surely, a lot of people will see them. Even those who visits the park just to unwind might get selfies with them.

I am just not too fond in snapping photos with everyone but if I do, that for sure is a nice moments I can look back while browsing my gallery. I prefer it if I am out in the picture and they are all the sole beautiful subjects in my shots. Ehe

Ahhh, by the way, as i've heard there's a prize for those participants who did their roles right. Not so sure right now how much but I heard last year, it's 100k pesos? Or was it 50k? Maybe this year they'll make it 150k? Haha ƪ⁠(⁠‾⁠.⁠‾⁠“⁠)⁠┐
