Today I want to write about the Hard Rock band "Aerosmith" and their power ballad song "Amazing", this song was written by Tyler and Richie Supa which was his longtime band friend and collaborator. In parts of this song we can also hear Don Henley (One of the members of Eagles band) as background vocals.

The song starts with a Piano piece, Bass guitar and strings plus a drums cymbal playing along, the opening of the song is in minor chord, there is a lead guitar sound in 0:09 which performs a bending, and in that time vocals starts with Tyler's powerful voice, even though it is the verse but it is like a climax and the emotions are performed so well the blues change in the chords is making it special, in 0:38 with a nice drums fills and Tyler's scream it goes to the next part of the song, drums starts performing while we can hear all the intruments and also a rhodes piano can be heard too, the slow rhythm keeps going forward with the lead guitars short parts then with another fills it goes to the chorus part which it is totally different than how the song was, it is a catchy melody for the vocals and the guitar has long sustains notes and some nice lead melodies, the vocals and back vocals performing awesome, with a stop in 1:45 the music keeps growing to another section which it is another climax part and Tyler sings it full power and with scream and Don Henley's back vocals is also sounds great, in 2:22 it gets back to the verse with some confusing melodies of guitar while we can also hear the nice back vocals like a Capella in 2:36 added a nice heavenly feelings to the song then powerful and violins comes and make it perfect the next chorus is more full now with violins and changes in guitar melodies and in 3:28 that transition part is just great and after that section they are performing an outro with Joe Perry's guitar solo and Tyler's vocals, it is full of passion and power and energy, it keeps growing till the end of the song, it is awesome how great the solo guitarist keeps playing along and I think it is a great improvisation, when the drums stops, lead guitar plays some melodies softer (with less distortion) and the song ends with a radio effect sound and a voice from the radio.

I hope you enjoyed listening to this song and reading my review about it.

Peace & Love!

I don't think I know this song, but then I only know some of their hits. They have been around for a long time, but never made that much impression on me even though I am a rock fan.

It's a nice enough rock ballad. The video is of it's time playing to teenage boy fantasies in the virtual reality age. We still don't have that realism :)
