This is a review about a song from Rammstein which it's called "Ohne Dich"
"Without you, I cannot be..., With you, I am alone also...".
This is the translation of Ohne Dich's chorus part, This song is one of my favorite songs from Rammstein, They are usually making heavy music and heavy riffs but in this one it is a romantic and soft rock music with such a great lyrics and also its music video fits it well and has a great message of fighting for your goal and standing for what you want and even if you fall down don't give up and get back to what you were doing even with a broken foot and also it has a message about being united and taking each others hands in hard times, and together we can win. This is what I get from this music video.
The song starts with an empotional String and then the vocals start with Till Lindemann's low vocals, we can hear the pain in his voice which the strings melodies is changing along with the vocals, with a cymbal sound it goes to the climax part of the song where the Piano and bass and drums starts performing a slow rhyme with enough space to keep the mood of the song. the second verse starts with acoustic guitar arpeggio and drums keep performing, then it gets back to the chorus with a nice stop and fills and the song becomes heavier in that part as drums become more louder and Electric Guitar also joins the composition, after that part there is a nice emotional violin added above the chorus and then it gets back to a silent part which it is like the second verse, Lindemann starts singing the half part of the lyrics, then it gets back to the 3rd chorus which the layers become more and they're performing full instruments. in the video there is silent part which we can only hear some FX and air sound which that part is where he falls down and still looking at his goal to reach it, the song starts again with the chorus part more powerful and he keeps singing "Ohne Dich ..." the music ends with a nice long sustain Electric Guitar and violin sound.
