Time for the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge.

This week's battle challenge is the about the little rare untamed snipe monster, Death Elemental. Costing just 3 mana the real fun for Death Elemental begins at lev-4 when it gets Silence ability. Although DEATH ELEMENTAL have low health but this weakness is complemented by its great speed.

Here is the amazing lore:

Death is one of the elemental forces of nature, which can be summoned in its raw form by a skilled Dark Eternal summoner. The dark and whispy energetic form is a terrifying force in battle. The Lord of Darkness refuses to call Death Elementals by their rightful name, insisting that theirs is not a magic of death, but life.

I own lev-5 DEATH ELEMENTAL which is sufficient for me as far as abilities are concerned.

Currently there are 8,421 normal foil DEATH ELEMENTALs in circulation, costing 0.12$/BCX. Gold Foil DEATH ELEMENTALs are less abundant with 564 in supply and costs 1.99$/BCX.

`Favored Battle Rules`

DEATH ELEMENTAL can be used effectively in battles that favor heavy magic attack e.g. Keep Your Distance and Broken Arrows.

`Placement`

Since DEATH ELEMENTAL, have low health so it needs to be placed in back middle ranks well protected from Snipe, Sneak and Blast attacks.

`How to Use`

DEATH ELEMENTAL's silence ability can cripple enemy magic attack at just 3 mana. Since it posses snipe attack so chances of Magic Reflects are also minimal.

DEATH ELEMENTAL can be complemented both by summoners and monsters.

Using DEATH ELEMENTAL with MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE summoner makes it immune to Magic Reflect damage due to the Void ability.

Protecting DEATH ELEMENTAL with shield using summoners like DRAKE OF ARNAK, or Protect ability monsters can provide nice cushion against the Opportunity attacks.

Positive health attribute from Strengthen ability can decently help inherently weak DEATH ELEMENTAL.

DEATH ELEMENTAL have high speed, so speed related attributes like Slow, Swiftness and Blind can make it even more difficult to hit.

`Defense`

Since DEATH ELEMENTAL is inherently low on health so high speed Opportunity attack is the best way to take it out. It can also be killed by placing Magic Reflect monster at Snipe position.

`MY LINEUP`

`MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE`

Since it was a high mana battle so I decided to go with my legendary untamed summoner, MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE. NIGHTSHADE is especially suited for Keep Your Distance battle rule due to Void and -1 range attack buffs.

`LORD ARIANTHUS`

Up front I placed my favorite tank, LORD ARIANTHUS. My all time favorite no attack monster. Perfect combo of awesome abilities Shield, Magic Reflect, Void and Thorns at just 5 mana cost.

`PRISMATIC ENERGY`

On one down position, I placed another Magic Reflect tank, PRISMATIC ENERGY. PRISMATIC ENERGY can be perfect for Keep Your Distance rule set, provided the battle mana cap allows it.

`PHANTOM SOLDIER`

Next, I placed another tank PHANTOM SOLDIER. The real charm of PHANTOM SOLDIER lies in it's Silence ability. Decent attack with Flying, Silence and Void ability, can't ask for more.

`FALLEN SPECTER`

Next I placed the low cost legendary, FALLEN SPECTER. It can be pretty effective due to Headwinds and Demoralize ability. MIMOSA's Void ability makes it immune to Magic Reflect damage, helping it to survive. Also including Taunt ability monster in team can protect it from Opportunity attacks.

`DEATH ELEMENTAL`

Next I placed star of the show, DEATH ELEMENTAL. With Keep Your Distance rule set, second silence is always welcome to put a true dent in enemy's magic attack. Again Mimosa's void helps against Magic Reflect.

`CORNEALUS`

On the very last, came the high mana neutral legendary, CORNEALUS. Although out of healing due to Healed Out rule set, CORNEALUS can soak Sneak(Magic and Ranged) attacks due to its heavy health and also inflict damage due to Thorns & Return Fire.

`BATTLE ANALYSIS`

This battle went as planned. MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE proved to be nice summoner choice. Also the double Silence ability trully crippled the enemy heavy magic attack.
