Simple Semiya/vermicelli Upma
Ingredients
Semiya/vermicelli 1 cup
Water 1.5 cup
Coconut oil 3 tbsp
Mustard seeds and red chilli for seasoning
Curry leaves
Salt as per taste preference
Method
Break the vermicelli.
Heat a wok. Pour oil. Season the mustard seeds and red chilli and curry leaves. Pour water and add salt. Let the water boil.
Add the vermicelli and let it cook till done and the water is absorbed.
Transfer it to the serving dish.
