How the country can progress
This photo is from the year 2018. These are rice sacks that we had bought from money donated to us for flood relief and we had given them to nursing staff who had lost their houses in the flood of 2018.
Why am I sharing this picture now?
The upcoming state legislative assembly elections reminded me of the hardships we have been facing ever since the present government came into power. Many have labeled the chief minister as unlucky but according to me, they have done their best to avert social disharmony, crisis and brought back the people to normalcy. Responsibility is given to people who can handle it.
Who will I vote for?
I am not inclined towards any political party as such. In fact, I am least bothered about ideals or sentiments and all the sort of crap politicians try to feed the people. I guess, growing up in Kerala has had its influence on me and I will do as I please, i.e. vote for the candidate who I think will do justice to his position if elected.
It is high time, the people of the country thought for themselves instead of being led by political dramas and politricks.
It is high time, people stopped being corrupt and encouraging corruption as such otherwise the country will not progress.
It is not enough if one percent of the population who live in cities have access to a better lifestyle and healthcare. All the people across the country should be able to access what is meant for them and not have to fight for it or be denied it.
Many have the feeling that India is still in an age where there are caste prejudices but the truth be said, those days are over and the 'reservation' system has removed the imbalance so much that it is now the reverse of what it used to be. In fact, linguistic and religious minorities too are no longer underprivileged. It is high time, all reservations are removed and Merit be the only criteria.
Cryptocurrency and the ongoing economic revolution if it can be termed so can change how people deal with finances. It can also determine the progress of the country, any country for that matter and it is the people who make the country. Wish all the politicians remembered that.

Great post, I have same point of view for the politics most of them are corrupt and they are just increase there wealth when they are in power, There are few of them who really thinks for there citizens. most of the politicians have divided all the nation of the bases of cast and religion that is really bad 😔

I personally don't vote anymore, able to successfully kick this addiction many years ago. I did it for a lot of the same reasons you mention in this post. The politicians will not save us for they have only self-interest and career preservation in mind. Your post reminds me of this song by Anthony B.
