Yesterday I saw this poster hanging from a restaurant window and I couldn't resist the temptation to take a picture of it. (Sorry for the quality by the way, but the lighting conditions were not optimal, resulting in heavy reflections.)

Anyway, this poster raises many questions for me...
First, we are still in Lockdown in Antwerp. At least... the bars & restaurants are still not allowed to open... and I don't think that will change by Friday...

But what is most unclear to me... The Schnitz... Is this advertising their dish of the day or... is there some obscure German group performing?

I would really like to know what this is about because... I would not like to come home with a German take away guitarist...

Maybe my friend @johannpiber can answer this... after all, he speaks the language... 😉

Great that I've just eaten 😊

Our restaurants and cafes are allowed to serve summrr grounds and alike. With a distance between tables and so on. Not bad

It's so strange how rules are being applied so differently across Europe. Over here, most businesses are still in lockdown but the restaurants were the first to open. 😝

Schnitzel is "schnitzel" in many languages, even in dutch, french and english, so !The Schnitz! must be something different, although they have put an image of a Wiener Schnitzel with lemon and parsley on the Poster.

It cant be a German thing though, because Germans eat Schnitzel with a sauce wherein the Schnitzel has to swim. That's disgusting!

So, my friend, how can I help you?
I have no idea, except I have heard of an Australian franchise company called "Schnitz". They are specialized in all kinds of Schnitzel. Maybe the first Belgian Schnitz restaurant opens on Friday?
