Choosing ‘Local’ for the betterment of the World!
Our simple act doesn't seem to have any effect but each acts actually ads up, whether it's positive and negative. We often ignore tiny things in life because we think those are not gonna make any change. We need to understand how wrong this mindset it.
When we talk about changing the environment, saving the world and livelihood; we usually count on the big things. I'm not saying it's wrong, but we should reconsider what we are doing. Let me give you an example.
'Think globally, act locally' is not just a slogan. It has a long impact, that's why it's important to choose what we use, how we act and everything. That's why I always believe to support the idea to 'Choose local'.
We are becoming a global village day by day. And finding any international product is just a matter of a few minutes. We love to use international products. But ignoring the local vendor creates a huge impact. It's like a chain reaction. If we choose a product which is not locally grown, we are actually taking away the market from the local producer.
Yeah, they may can't produce the best quality. But if we can support them, they eventually can. The government will support them, there will less need to import products and local people are gonna empower gradually. And it's not just about agricultural products. Any service-oriented products, any cosmetics or anything. We need to change our mindset and have to prefer local things in every sector.
It's just a simple step. Notice what you are choosing in your daily life or occasionally and find out what you need to change. Not only that convince others to do the same. Maybe we can't always choose the local transport system, locally made products but preferring local things worth enough.
