El segundo domingo del mes de mayo los venezolanos celebramos el Día de las Madres, día de mucha alegría y mucha felicidad, día para compartir, para reunirse, para estar juntos alrededor de la figura mas importante de la familia, lo mas sagrado y el centro del hogar, la mamá. Desde la visión de los hijos, la madre, es el miembro mas importante de la familia pero desde la visión de la madre son los hijos los seres mas sagrados del núcleo familiar. Abuelos, Padres, hijos y nietos son la familia que rige la sociedad, son el cimiento de un País.

On the second Sunday of May, Venezuelans celebrate Mother's Day, a day of great joy and much happiness, a day to share, to meet, to be together around the most important figure in the family, the most sacred and the center of the home, the mother. From the children's point of view, the mother is the most important member of the family, but from the mother's point of view, the children are the most sacred beings in the family nucleus. Grandparents, Parents, children and grandchildren are the family that governs society, they are the foundation of a Country.

Hoy, para agradar a la mujer mas importante de nuestro hogar, mis hijos y yo decidimos elaborar un plato sencillo pero muy sabroso: Muslos de Pollo horneados a la naranja, con puré de papas y ensalada césar, acompañados con jugo de guayaba y mucho amor. Esta deliciosa comida la disfrutamos en su honor por ser ella la mujer maravillosa que nos da su amor sin medidas. Este sencillo homenaje culinario es muestra del amor que le profesamos y el gran respeto que sentimos por ella.

Today, to please the most important woman in our home, my children and I decided to prepare a simple but very tasty dish: Chicken Thighs baked with orange, with mashed potatoes and Caesar salad, accompanied with guava juice and lots of love. . We enjoy this delicious meal in her honor because she is the wonderful woman who gives us her love without measures. This simple culinary tribute is a sign of the love we profess for her and the great respect we have for her.
