We have given COVID test again today

It has been over 30 days since my family got COVID. I have written a few articles in the past about the experience we had in the last 30 days. Myself and my family members were tested COVID positive and we are now slowly recovering from that. My dad was the one who was severely affected because of that and he is still not fully recovered yet.

It is believed that Corona Virus usually goes away from the affected person after 20 to 25 days. People don't usually take a test to confirm and see if they don't have the virus anymore. The reason is that in many cases even after 20 days the reports still say that they are positive. The explanation given for that is that even the dead cells show up as positive in the report it seems. We did not have any thought to go and give a test once again but when we speak to our relatives and friends they insist on that and some people even say that they would come to our house interact with us face to face only if we are tested negative again.

Due to that pressure, we had to go and give the test once again today. I wouldn't call that wrong but a safety measure but the way in which it is conveyed is sometimes not very good. People are scared and paranoid due to fatal incidents that happen around us which is understandable. Though we know that the virus is gone from us and we are all okay now, we went and gave the test today for the satisfaction of our friends and relatives. The results would take two days it seems.

My mother was worried thinking about what if the results are positive once again. But I'm confident that are all past that already and we wouldn't be positive once again and, to be frank, the fear about that virus is also gone from me now. In the last 30 days, the exposure that I got from the Virus and the things that happened around me has given me a good clarity and has taken away the fear from me. I also see another positive thing about this. Some of my friends who are new to this and are tested positive, call me to ask my suggestions. I'm glad that I can guide them in such a way that I don't make them do the mistakes I did because of ignorance.

Though they say that the vaccine is coming soon, the danger is still out there. It is believed that a proper mask can prevent anyone by 95 percent. So, I would recommend wearing a mask wherever you go.
