A painfully slow last couple of weeks it has been. Between being out of town a couple of times and quite the nice summer season that is upon me. It was hard to remain indoors working on anything. At this point, the next demo is not expected to be out by the end of the month.

The way I wanted to approach things to try and cut down on the amount of repetitive work ended up over the past couple of weeks not working out so much. Just far too many things to do with animations and other NPCs things that complicated the workflow I was hoping to accomplish.

Sometimes you just can’t beat grinding work out the slow way. Which had leads my mind during this rather hot summer to be outside instead of indoors. Between that and civilization wanting to go to extremes again I felt it was best to just enjoy the weather while one can. Perhaps next update I’ll have accomplished a lot more.

Despite the low amount of stuff getting done for the time being. I’m still doing quite well on the overall schedule I have put in place. While you can’t always meet short-term deadlines you set for yourself. It’s the long-term ones to keep an eye on.
