Cycles - Night and day prototype

Hello boys and girls, with this new year cycle starting and going a bit back to "normal" routine days and being very tired at the end of the day I sat a little bit in front of the game page without really feeling adding more hardwork at the end of the day I was about to close to watch some tv and then...

What about night and day cycles, that feature that in the late 90' could go on a game marketing?
And so I made the easiest night and day transition simply by sliding the gradient of a blue sky into the dark black, the results are not exceptional but a like this rolling in the game, in the next days I'm gonna make it a bit more fluent.

I don't mind the flatness of it, it's a distant paperthin world it dosen't have to be like our solar system with glorius shining dawns and flaring sunsets but I want to add a little bit of weird in this folding time.

And have you ever had one of this moments when you feel of not doing much but then suddenly the brain wake up and kicks and you find yourself back on work to something immiediatly?

Sweet, what kind of game you working on?

It's a platform adventure game, I end up always in that space/genre.
Not too large world with Metroid like progression of power up unlocking :)
