"Coitus Interruptus"

I just finished a 5.65km running that lasted about 0hh:28mm:52ss !

Typical day of the Mediterranean climate approaching summer...
We have had a hot and sunny day until the runner's time has arrived.

The sky has turned black, dense and dark clouds have arrived, a light cool breeze, a few drops falling... Nothing to worry about, apparently.
I have even thought it would be much better this time since the temperature dropped two or three degrees also, which is very good to go running.

I have left the house gently, equipped with my best running outfit and super motivated.

At the time I reached the nearby park, the rain has begun to increase in intensity.

"That's nothing!" I thought although I decided to stay close to home just in case...
And I have to say that it was a wise decision despite also frustrating.

I felt very good, running progressively, increasing speed a little kilometer after kilometer... but also the rain was doing so...
Around the 4th Kilometer the rain has turned into a summer storm and the pavement was becoming too slippery and dangerous...

So took another decision...

"Let's finish this kilometer as fast as possible and go straight back home" without stretching or anything like that.

So I run the last Kilometer in less than 4' (LOL) and...

...I've arrived to the elevator soaked like a duck

Maybe tomorrow I would be luckier.
