Morning Run - Cool and bright

I just finished a 6.595km running that lasted about 0hh:37mm:21ss !

It was a little chilly today, so I went for long sleeves. I was doing a 30-20-10 intervals run and headed towards Stotfold. My legs continue to feel heavy and uncoordinated, but it is not slowing me down too much.

It may have been a mistake to go all the way to Stotfold as a fair few kids were heading to school along the cyclepath. I was still able to keep my distance from them, but should really avoid that route in term time unless I can get up earlier. My other half was up really early as she had to do the horses before work. Then the cat came and shouted at me long before I wanted to get up. She did settle after a while.

On the way back I diverted away from the road around the fields and allotments. There was some soft mud around there, but was not too bad.

I do not feel like I am really improving in my running lately, but I need to burn off some calories due to the amount of cake in the house. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and am not into dieting.

I hope things are going well for the many other runners of Hive. I can recommend @exhaust. The integration with Strava makes it simple to post a run, but then I feel I need to write something about it to add value.

Run free and stay well.

We are supposed to hit the 70's today, so I am pretty excited about that. I got my workout in before work, but I have a feeling as the temps get better my wife will want to start doing additional walks when we get home and on the weekends. I've been trying to limit the calories I take in, so hopefully that along with the exercise will give me some positive results.

Up to about 11C (52F) today, but about 3C when I went out. Got to love the different measurement systems. You guys need to go metric.

I went for a walk by the river yesterday that was nice. I need to keep active.

Trust me, I'd love for us to be metric. It would make everything so much easier!

We still have a mix here. Road signs in miles, but buy fuel in litres. Many people still measure themselves in feet and stones. I use metric when doing any DIY.
