Thanks a lot for the mention guys and gals! Appreciate the support 🙂

I think I slept on this and pardon me for being forgetful, can you tell me or point me in the direction to find out a little more about Exhaust? It's an app or something else?

No worries on the mention! Cool to read up on your progress w/ your 2020 Alzheimers distance challenge!

It's kinda-sorta-mostly an app-in-progress. I've been about 150% over-capacity with my actual day-job since 2020 started, and haven't had much time to advance it.

You can check out the website, and participate w/ uploading activities (or syncing your Strava account), at https://xhaust.me -- I don't advertise the project too much, because it's definitely in an alpha-stage, with a variety of bugs / breaks / poor-designs.. Slowly building out a new version, which I hope to roll-out by end of July here.

Generally though, users share their activities, and then kinda-sorta "compete" for the weekly funds generated from the beneficiary cut that @exhaust is alloted, based on km's travelled (for running / cycling / hiking) or time spent exercising (for climbing / yoga / strength-training).

EDIT:

Here's an old FAQ that was written up... Some of it is probably a bit outdated at this point, but it probably gets the general idea across:

https://peakd.com/exhaust/@exhaust/exhaust-faq

EDIT 2:

Upon further review -- most, if not all, of the links in the FAQ linked above a broken, and were from an earlier (alpha-alpha) version of the project.

Hey man, don't burn yourself out with it. I also have a full time job and try my best to keep up with things but you just need to take things in your stride and use the passion you had when you initially started the project to drive you on. Chip away at it and work on one step at a time.

I just synced my Strava account actually, nice concept! Required a couple of clicks when I was using Brave but all looks good on the website. As an alpha, it's still more funcional than a lot of betas and full sites out there so looking forward to seeing where this goes! Great work!

As you see I do a lot of hiking and running so will try it out at various points throughout the year and see what's going on - be cool to have more regular updates I think on how the 2020km challenge is going.

Keep up the awesome work 😃
