Introduction as Curator

As strange as it sounds for me to say that, it is what it is. I am a BAS holder in Digital Media, and I have produced not only music but photography and film as well. When I saw the creation of #MusicForLife, I began to create posts that made me eligible for the Airdrop, and of course, I staked my tokens as soon as I had them. Then, when the Discord was available, I joined and became active. Soon, I was very honored to be asked to be a delegated curator for the #M4L community!

I am still learning the voting weights and how that works out, but I am a fast study, so it will not be long before I am doing this curation thing like a pro! In the meantime, if you go to HiveVote you can follow my curation trail, however, do not do this if you do not understand what it means! I only vote for original content, non-plagerized posts, and I do run them through a paid checker. I will give feedback to help people become better bloggers, but one I can say will help in general is to have translations in the post if English is not your native language. It will not only help us to curate, but it will also help you build readers, and help people to learn new music as well!

You seem to be the right person for the job. I am just curating for fun and have to say its not as easy as it seems. Manually curating includes reading the entire post and thinking through with a response to the post.
Yes, it does take some time, but as we move forward and figure out some of the "Behind the Scenes" stuff we are still working on, I think it will get easier. Schedules, etc., but yeah it is difficult at times. I really do like getting all of the different viewpoints on music, however. It is really cool. Most of the time now, I am sitting here listening to #MSP waves, or some other #OCD, like the stuff on #RisingStar, and working. Honestly, I feel like just digitally "hanging out," whether it is in #Discord, #Peakd, or #Telegram sometimes helps to keep me sane when the "cooped-up" feelings start to set in. I am getting ready to post some pics of a concert I went to a while back, and it sort of hit me tonight, like man, there really are NO CONCERTS going on right now, you know? Not really...just made me sad.

Thank you! Don't tell anyone, but I am not sure what I do either! Just kidding, basically, we check for stealing other's work, as in plagiarism, we kind of judge on formatting, originality, spelling, if they translated to English, whether they used the right APP for the right kind of post, and in general whether or not they put effort into what they did. We really want to have people that are into the music more than for the money, basically. I mean the money is important of course, but someone can invest if they want that side. The creation of content is another story, and that is where the curators come in. We have delegated power that allows us to get the good posts doing good, and the bad posts ignored. Hope that explains it somewhat better for you, and others!
