Poleman - Risking life mid-air (Portrait Photography)
Canon EOS M50
f/3.2 1/500 200.00mm ISO200
This is my entry to Portrait Photography Contest Week-8. I have taken this photo, 2 days back, when a labour is working upon making a elevator channel, by joining two iron poles.
He was hanging in mid air only with the support of the Iron poles and trying to tighten the screw. He was 25-30 feet above the ground. And quite risking his life.
There is a construction work underway in my neighbourhood, and mason and many labour were working to make the elevator working so that the klinker mixture (cement/sand/stones) can be carried to the rooftop. It was the casting work on roof.
I was standing and shooting from my balcony which is quite a distant from my neighbour home. On my first attempt it didn't gone well. As I was trying to learn and handle the digital equipment, which was brought by my nephew.
But later I focused on the boy, to make it click at accurate timing. He was quite busy man, with his jeans slipping away from his waist. His undergarment can be seen easily. However he was more focussed on his work, so that there won't be any accident or the work can be carried smoothly.
Read here for the complete photography contest that begun yesterday and open till Saturday.
Hopefully, will see some more amazing entry to the contest.
