THE BRIEF- A True Leader
The kind of leadership determines how an organization or group will succeed or not.
And the principle of leadership is base on the capability of someone to lead a person or group of persons.
When I first saw the project hope contest by @awah I was racking my head for the best character of leadership I should write on among the numerous leaders I know.
The thought of writing someone famous crossed my mind but I thought it's going to be nice to write about someone I have closely work with and who I find his/her leadership qualities to be attractive.
And the person my brain resorted to is someone on the hive platform.
That's @olasamuel, he is also known as Two.
I get to know about Olasamuel late 2018 and something I find charming about his attitude is his charisma of carrying others. He is someone who has dedicated his time introducing newbies to Cryptocurrency and blockchain.
Currently, @olasamuel is currently running a community @hivebootcamp which is dedicated to introducing Nigerians and other Africans to the hive platform.
The attributes that Olasamuel possess are:
Integrity
Communication
Gratitude
Influence
Courage
I will be talking briefly about the five aforementioned attributes.
integrity: When it comes to integrity, he is someone a great number of persons can vouch for in the Nigerian community. As he has not been recorded of having any dubious dealings or involved in something that can question his character.
Communication: The way he relates and communicates with everyone no matter their personality is something I admire and love to learn someday. After a talk with Olasamuel, an unsatisfied or confused fellow will definitely get him/herself cleared and be able to see the light.
Gratitude: He is just this gifted to show appreciation to everyone, no matter how little what they do is. Being able to show gratitude to your subordinates is a character that every true leader should possess.
Influence: Yes, he is quite influential. As he has been able to influence a great number of people bringing them to hive. And not only that, he influences them to do more on the platform.
Courage: Truly only the courageous can lead. And for Olasamuel he is someone that is confident and not afraid to lead. He is always a leader that's there for the people and has them at heart.
In summary, there is no true leader without his/her people. So a true leader is one that has the welfare of his people at heart and always has that open ears to their needs giving them a welcoming hand.
