Books Quarantine - IAAC Day 42

Well, today was an interesting one... Every day we can learn something new, maybe it's something useful, maybe it's not, but you learn something... And how elders say... Until you live, you learn... Well, I would say the opposite... While I learn something new, I Am Alive!

I have to admit that this has almost nothing with affiliate marketing, but still, it is somehow addressed to @jongolson... he should pay attention the most about the problem from the video... lol...

Actually, I don't know where to start this video description... This video is some kind of rant, but it isn't... It's negative, but also positive... A lot of mixed feelings around it, for sure...

But, I can guarantee you that you will probably smile at least a bit... Something interesting happened, and I have tried to explain it to be understandable to everyone... Check out the video... :)

Nice place for walking there. At least your libraries are open now. Here, they would probably open the malls first. Plus, you can walk outside without a mask. It's mandatory here. 😷😷😷 stay safe!

I had a big laugh listening to you ;-). I could understand that they put the books away for a day since it's the maximum duration that the virus can survive on surfaces but two weeks is just ridiculous!

I've told you that my kids went back to school last monday. Shops opened as well. Unfortunately my own business is still closed. All the shops had to implement security measures. They have to put desinfectant at the entry and everybody now has to spray their hands with the same dispenser. To use the dispenser you have to actually press it with your hands and everybody who goes into the shop presses the same dispenser... Then there is a way for people to move in the stores. They come in one one side and have to go out on the other. Shops can only let one person in per 10 m2. So there is a waiting line before the shop and there are two meters between each person. Now you walk through the street and you have these lines in front of every shop and you have to walk through these lines...

It's all quite ridiculous. Meanwhile in the schools my kids are back to normal without distancing, without masks...

At least we have some freedom since we are counselled to do things. Well apart from not allowing my business to open, I'm quite fine with that ;-)

I'm glad that you have a good laugh... 🤣 That's the main point of my videos, but also, I want to share my thoughts on some things...

And you are right... there are so many crazy "rules/decisions" made without getting deeper into the "problem"... Sometimes people who create those rules have no idea how great impact those things can have on others... Which is happening in real-time these days...

Like your kid is going to school, exchanging germs, viruses, and everything (I have nothing against this... as a matter of fact, that's a great thing... they are building their immune system), but you can't work... lol...

Have a great weekend!

I think that in the long term the only solution to face this problem is that we all get anticorps against it.

I have a business in the leisure sector and the most frustrating thing is that nobody can tell me when I will be able to open again and what kind of measures I will have to implement... Fortunately I can be active on hive and have the feeling to do something more or less usefull at least ;-)

I wish you a nice week-end as well!

Yeah, I agree with your idea about a long-term solution... that's how normal people think... The only problem is that we are not in the majority... lol...

Leisure sector in Switzerland? Hmmm... Some rooms for stay, or similar? I was going by a car last year and decided to NOT go through Switzerland, but I think that I have done it wrong... It's a beautiful country... Saw it through the window of the airplane couple of times... landing in Zurich to catch the next flight...

Wow putting the books up for a week. That is starting to approach the movie Fahrenheit 454 where they burned all the books. Luckily I don't think that will happen.

Actually, they are locking up books for TWO weeks... just in case... lol... And burning the books can be an option soon with these incompetent people in charge...

It is strange how people are reacting to different ways of reopening to the public. Funny that all along in US, Walmart has been open. Yet small businesses are still closed. Walmart can allow people in, yet children can't get out and participate in sports. To many different rules about so many things is very confusing. So it is hard to trust in what the government says to do. Some just does not make any sense. Love the post.

Sorry about the language, but it is a shit-show... nobody knows nothing... they are killing small shops and big supermarkets are doing better than ever... + getting help from the govt...

Thanks for the kind words... Appreciate it!
