When the crypto market goes down, there are always thousands of hypotheses to explain it and any recent news is related to this, it is part of a ritual, I don't know if it is a justification, that tries to counteract something that is true, all markets in the financial world have these wave-like behaviours, not only the one that moves cryptocurrencies but also shares or financial assets.
