Cartesi and MixMarvel partnership.

It was announced 24th of August through the official Twitter handle of Cartesi (@cartesiproject) that they've just partnered with MixMavel, I clicked on the medium post and I got excited after seeing the prospect of what the partnership will bring.

First question that came to my mind was : "What is MixMarvel all about?"

MixMarvel is a multiplayer online game community powered by blockchain, that appears in the form of a large-scale virtual 3D world created by global players and developers.

It allows developers to release their content liberally and gain long-term returns for it, and players — to find better content and obtain and manage digital
assets. In the future, both players and developers empowered by the MixMarvel community will easily be able to find the resources and elements they need to create
content. Through collaboration, creation, and involvement in the community, they will obtain further value. Eventually, MixMarvel will be the brand-new ecosystem that not
only engages developers, players, and content but revolutionizes the mainstream gaming world by leveraging blockchain technology.

They are planning to leverage on blockchain technology, which is where Cartesi comes in. From the newly released Descartes SDK, considering the new features the new version Cartesi’s Descartes SDK has, the computation games can attain will be mouthwatering. Since smart contracts should be secured, the Descartes SDK offers just that.

MixMarvel is a blockchain game global publishing platform, and it is very much into NFT(Non Fungible Token). Read more here

NFTs are controlled by users as it is a representation of game assets, this takes away sole power from the game developer. It enables the users to have a say in the game too, as the NFTs can be traded on third-party market places irrespective of if the game developer wants it so or not.

MixMarvel ventured into NFT market last year, with the ForceForFast racing blockchain game. If you love racing games, cars and it's thrills, you should look into this game.

The idea of creating a leveled field between users and developers is something Cartesi believes in from it's Descartes SDK. I see two projects of similar visions coming together, games just got more value with this partnership.
