Avoid False Prediction

Many of us, do have this stupid false prediction, of us getting rejected before actually attempting to get the offer presented to us. For instance, a guy will feel he has no chance of getting a girl, that he likes and adore, so he won't approach her. I'm a pretty girl 😉, so I know when some guys will stare at me, and I will know they desire me but they won't make the approach. Funny enough, I do like some of them, but since they don't make the approach, I can't go and approach them. Same with life, you might feel as though, you won't be able to achieve something, so you sit back, doing nothing. Not knowing if you had just tried a little bit you would have gotten it. Be it a job, exams, dates, and others scenarios. You have to first believe in yourself before you will be able to achieve anything.

Your mind tends to control your reality. If your mind is predicting you will get rejected, there's about an 85% chance of that happening. Since, we know just how powerful our mind really is, we should use it to our advantage. Instead of predicting rejections, you should predict acceptance. But the sad thing about predicting acceptance, is that when you get rejected you feel double the pain. That's the mindset of majority of us. But you should change that mindset completely. If you predict acceptance and you get rejected, feel bad but move on immediately and be ready to predict yet another acceptance in another venture. Continue predicting acceptance, regardless the number of rejection you might have gotten in life. Because of your positive mindset, you will be trying to improve yourself and also predicting acceptance while improving on yourself. With time, you will start getting acceptance, because life is about consistency and your mindset. If you have positive mindset towards something, and you stay consistent, you will definitely achieve it. For now, try and avoid false prediction, instead predict acceptance.

Hi @gifxlove

While this can certainly mean quite a valid argument "Many of us are afraid of rejection because of the amount of rejections we might have received in the past and we don't want to feel so depressed ever again", one must have psychological fortitude to overcome any emotional barriers that prevent us from letting go of fear.

Best regards, be well.

You are right. We need to have the psychological fortitude to overcome the fear of getting rejected.

I agree with you that you need to avoid false predictions. The human mind functions in a very inexplicable way. Once the mind has resolved within itself that rejection will come, then there are chances it might. We should not give place for negativities in our mind.
Nice piece. Thanks for sharing

Our mind is so powerful, we should always use it to have advantage by predicting acceptance to ourselves and not rejection.

A nice read. Very true, we should try to avoid false predictions. Because we are what we think we are. Ke$ha(American singer) said it in one of her famous songs. If we think we would fail, we will probably fail, because we won't want to put in the effort to want to pass. And if we think we would win, we will probably win, because we would want to put in all we got. So, we should always be predicting good things in our life.

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful article with us @gifxlove

Yeah, "Kesha - we are who we are". Nice song, was blast back then, love the song. And she is right, we are who we think we are. So, we should think of positive things at all times.

Hello friend, excellent recommendation, being afraid is not bad, on the contrary it can make us strong, there will always be people who do not believe in us, the important thing is that we believe in ourselves and have the security to move forward with our ideas. Greetings.
