Don't Be Controlled By Circumstances

It is easier said than done, but it is a very important tip to keep you focus in achieving your 2021 goals. Plans don't always go as you planned it, but what separate boys from men and girls from ladies, is that, they never lose focus regardless of their current situations. If Michael Faraday was controlled by his circumstances he wouldn't be known as the Father of Electricity. The popular saying which goes, When life hands you a lemon, make lemonade, that's how you should tackle every challenges that face you. See your challenges as lessons that is guiding you towards achieving your ultimate goal. Ed Sheeran, the popular musician, had his eyes set for his goal, because his past circumstances wouldn't have let him gotten to where he is now. He tried singing for years in the United Kingdom, but nothing promising. He traveled to United States, had no where to sleep, he didn't lose focus, he was still looking for gigs to perform until he was discovered by Jamie Foxx. Jamie Foxx said in one of his interviews that he launched Ed Sheeran career by letting him sleep on his couch for 6 weeks before he became famous. Almost everyone have had their fair share of set backs, but what separate winners from losers, is that losers quit but winners keep fighting on until they achieve their goals. If you try not to allow your circumstances control you, it will only be a matter of time before you achieve your desired goal.

Feedback

Feedbacks is very essential in achieving your goals for 2021. Many people disregard this part a lot and that's why they don't achieve their goals. You should always seek for feedback from your friends, family or mentor. We as humans sometimes don't know how we are performing where there is no yard stick to check your result, we need someone to observe us and tell us what they think about what we are doing and if they have any input to help you, they should add. Haven't you written an article, and proof read it like 5 times, everything is fine, no errors. But when you give that same article for someone else to proof read it for you, there are a whole bunch of errors, and you begin to wonder, how come, but I read this over 5 times and I saw no errors. Same thing applies to everything in life, you might be doing a particular thing and you don't know you are missing just a little thing to make it a success and all you need is a feedback from someone telling you where you are missing it. Feedback could be praises, for work well done, which will inspire and motivate you to do better. Feedback could be advice, to help you do better next time. Feedback could be criticisms, which is my favorite, this helps you to evaluate yourself. If you want to achieve your goals for 2021, you need to have constant feedback from people you trust.
