Hello friend @samminator, what a good read you have given us.
Certainly to many people that even when they are surrounded by other people they always have that feeling of loneliness, maybe it is because of the quality of the people around them and in other cases it is the lack of adaptability of that person to the environment around them.

You're right buddy, the quality of the people around is what matters and not the quantity. If there's no emotional connection, then their company may not be helpful.
