What is RESILIENCE for you?

Hello dear friends, I hope you are doing very well and that this week is being fabulous for all of you. The word for today is, RESILIENCE.

Recently I heard and saw a video on this subject and the truth is that some very interesting things were said that I want to raise in this publication.

Do you know what that word means?

For my resilience is, the power we have to recover after one or several difficult situations, is to be able to go on in spite of the adversities, in spite of being afraid and that the things do not come out completely well, is to learn that the life is full of good and bad moments and to have the capacities or abilities to be able to face them.

I believe that it is a skill that all of us human beings should acquire, because unfortunately or fortunately it does not depend on a genetic inheritance, but rather it depends more on our environment, the environment where we grew up, on all that we learn in our development. It is something that can be learned and built as we grow.

For example, a child who grows up in a hostile state or on the contrary, in an environment where he is very overprotected cannot acquire the skills to be able to face life's problems. And that's where both mental and physical problems can begin.

Certainly we must teach our children to face the problems but that does not mean that we cannot protect them, everything in excess hurts, it is normal that we face the PAIN, because the pain will always exist, but to suffer for that pain is our decision.

On the contrary, we must accept what happens to us and think about what we can do to solve it or simply let it go. Death is inevitable, we can suffer for a loved one, it is something painful, but to turn it into pathological suffering already depends on us and the capacity we have to manage our emotions.

In order to learn to be resilient people, we must learn to socialize and communicate with others. It is necessary to learn to relate, to learn to know the emotions, the feelings, the way people feel before certain adversities, that will teach us to understand and sympathize with others, but if we isolate ourselves we will not be able to advance as human beings and we will not learn to face the problems in life.

Thanks a lot for reading me!

Greetings friend @franyeligonzalez.

As always another extraordinary content that you share with us on this occasion related to resilience, just as I think that resilience focuses on the fact of referring to the recovery of people when they go through difficult situations, where it is important to highlight what you express:

I think it is a skill that all human beings should acquire, because unfortunately or fortunately it does not depend on a genetic inheritance, but it depends more on our environment, the environment in which we grew up, on everything that we learn. in our development. It's something that can be learned and built upon as we grow.

This is very true. We must all develop such an ability in order to be stronger in every sense of our lives.

Thank you for continuing to share such important and educational content with all of us. Successes.

Hello @franyeligonzalez
The truth is that resilience is a quality we must develop if we want to succeed in life. I can't see a successful person who lives falling apart before any difficult situation.
These are things we can learn, in fact, things we must learn in order to better aim for those things we want, without falling apart along the way.

There is no doubt that this is a skill that we must all learn, since it is a great advantage in this world to be able to face all adversities with a good attitude, especially because this ability makes us come out stronger from each difficulty.

Greetings dear @franyeligonzalez

Resilience would be, as our inner ability to overcome some adverse emotional situation, your analysis has a lot of consistency when you express, that this ability is acquired from our environment, in other words it is an adaptive behavior that we usually develop as a kind of self-demanding of our inner self, in the search for emotional welfare, I agree with you, we must learn to be resilient people, because this will allow us to socialize and communicate better with other people. Thank you for socializing this wonderful article.

For me resilience is the ability to overcome adversity with a positive attitude, transforming you in the process. Something very necessary at present in the face of so many challenges presented by the current panorama of uncertainty.

Certainly it is a capacity that not all human beings acquire, so having that capacity to recover after several setbacks ends up being a fabulous quality worthy of respect. Greetings my dear friend and thank you for sharing.

This is an interesting term that describes my personality, although I did not know it with that term in Venezuela is called "being the size of the commitment", no doubt that teaching children this skill will facilitate the future for them and their children.
