Today's market strategies

Market strategies, according to Ferrell and Hartline (2012), are those tools available to a person who has a business or is dedicated to the provision of a service in order to be recognized. It is important to take into account that according to the competencies that the business has, it should be carried out in certain ways that somehow attract the attention of customers, in order to somehow increase sales or services provided.

It is for this reason that marketing strategies today is nothing more than techniques that the company takes to increase sales and thus meet the objectives proposed by the same. All this is due to the high competitiveness that exists in the different areas of trade, to achieve efficiency in marketing is essential to have professional people because, the same is responsible for creating strategy that somehow could benefit the company.

On the other hand, one of the fundamental strategies today, according to Kotler (2017), is marketing 4.0, moving from the traditional to the digital, with the creation of digital images and social networks where a wide variety of products can be offered, thus attracting the attention of customers and increasing sales, which is the main objective of a business.

In general, the first thing to do when establishing strategies is to carry out a market study where all the ways to attract the attention of customers in the midst of so much competition of each business are established. There can be long, medium and short term strategies, since through them the established goals will be achieved.

In this sense, we can say that market strategies tend to seek to increase the sales of the business in order to meet the proposed goals. It is essential to take into account how each market strategy should be carried out, since there are cases in which they do not favor the business.

Personally, I believe that apart from the management of digital resources, there is an indispensable strategy in companies, which is good customer service, since a business, no matter how small it may be, must have a staff that helps solve customer problems and thus the customer is satisfied with the service provided.

Finally, it can be seen that there must be a synergy between the digital resource and the human talent that is willing to help the customer and can benefit the company to some extent so that significant sales growth can be achieved.
