My 2020: Just A Normal Day.

But what is a normal day anyway? This will be very different for everyone. So many people, so many things. Fortunately. That also makes it interesting. But what is a normal day for me will not be so common for many other people. And vice versa of course too.

Let me start by telling what a normal day means to me.

Alarm at 6 in the morning, ouch!

Are you ready for it? There we go. The alarm goes off at 6 in the morning, and yes, that is early! Much too early to my liking usually. I often turn around and enjoy the warmth the dogs give to my legs. But then I feel that my partner kindly gets up and starts his day. He is going to do his things as quickly as going to the toilet, brushing his teeth and already turning on the kettle. Then he puts on his coat and comes back in to call our ladies' dogs for their morning walk.

Drink a cup of tea.

In the time that he walks the dogs for the first time I get up, go to the toilet and make tea for both of us and when he comes back with the dogs we drink a cup of tea and have a morning chat together. In this winter time I light the stove because without it it's really not funny. The dogs lie down on the couch after their walk and are ready to sleep for a few more hours. In the meantime, my partner is ready to go to work and I make my first cup of coffee while I start up my PC.

No job for a boss, still a workday to start.

Even though I don't have a job for a boss, my workday also starts now and I start checking the crypto prices. I check my e-mail to see if I have received any new important e-mails and as soon as I have updated that section I start looking for a photo for my daily blog.

Found my blogging routine back since the beginning of 2020.

The routine that I have developed in this area since the beginning of this month, after having been sidelined for a long time, I really want to keep it because blogging gives me a lot of pleasure as well as some small earnings.

Barking and playing dogs!

A normal day also often looks to me that one of my two dogs often barks me away from my PC. Until June 2018, there were four, and since December 21, there are only two dogs. It has become a bit quieter in the house. Of course I certainly give the two dogs their well-deserved attention, so with pauses of playing and cuddling with my ladies I work on my PC.

Socialize on discord.

Also something needs to be done about socializing on discord so that outside that I have my word processor, internet pages, and photoshop open ... discord is always active at the bottom of my toolbar.

After the blogs, time for the dogs.

After I have posted my blog, it is once again plenty of time for the dogs and the household. Because of course that also has to continue. Doing groceries whatever belongs in a normal day always requires some planning and thinking about what we eat that week. Because I don't usually go shopping every day. Because we live from far away, and unfortunately do not have a car to drive up and down quickly, I take the time to find out what I still have and what I have to get for what we want to eat. And then it's time to walk the dogs BEFORE I go to get the groceries needed.

Time to leave the house for groceries.

After we have walked and played well I drink a cup of tea with a small lunch, and then it is really time to leave. When I come back from doing the groceries that day, It is noon again and it is really time to do the daily chores in the house. Then my dogs think it's time to walk again and they also want to have a bowl of food, which of course they also get. And then I start to cook our dinner with a calm feeling in my head so that when my partner comes home he doesn't have to wait long before we can eat.

Family times ...

As soon as he gets home we catch up and talk about his and my day, the dogs are very present to go get their well-deserved hugs from my partner who they have not seen all day long and after everything is quiet again we eat ...

Quiet ... but yet cozy evenings.

The evenings are usually very quiet. Occasionally we get a visit and often in the evening I work on photos that I have taken during the day. However, I cannot describe a photo shoot in a 'normal' day because although it happens regularly that I do a photo shoot, it remains a special experience to be allowed to do that so that will never fall under a 'normal day' for me. Editing the photos is a different story, and that falls under a normal day. My partner is often playing games on his PC in the evenings or he plays retro games with the raspberry pi on the TV. And of course we have entire conversations.

Last walk with the dogs, and go to bed early.

Most of the week evenings we are in bed early because the alarm goes off early the next day. And so it is that we usually go out together to walk the dogs for their evening walk around 9, then we go to sleep around 10 o'clock. Another day passed, and freshly rested again the next day around 6 o'clock in the morning when the alarm rings again.

If I describe it this way, it sounds really boring, and there will certainly also be a lot to change, but maybe you think, "Oh, I really want that peace."

So many people, so many wishes. But this is "A normal day" for me right now. And to be fair. At the moment I don't want to change much about it.
