Being caught under the rain is not a nice experience especially if you are all dressed up going out. Even the umbrella couldn't withstand the rain, nice creativity. It looks real

Haha, they have been busy working on the farm and now they have to go inside having a lazy day watching TV or baking Christmas cookies 😄

This year my wife didn't bake any Christmas cookies, but my daughter did. She has tried it for the first time in her life and although I never eat cookies (ask my mum and my wife) I love hers and can't stop eating 😉

Now that you mentioned your daughter’s Christmas cookies, 🍪 it’s inspiring me to start making my gingerbread men cookies. I always made a good supply and froze them to take to my sister’s for Christmas but this year we wouldn’t be going off Island with the Covid restrictions. We’d have to isolate for 14 days and I always say company is like dead fish- after 3 days they start to smell. I know my sister would like me to stay that long but I try to leave while they still like me. LOL.

3 days? I fully agree with that 😉

My daughter has made so many cookies of a lot different kinds, also gingerbread. I love these, but they have to be hard, that you need strong teeth and everybody hears you bite off 😂

My daughter has made a few packages and sent them to friends, but there's enough left for me 😁

I'm having another busy week, but that's okay because it makes the weekend come faster 😉

Cookies are a great gift this time of year. I've really been slacking on baking lately.

Vaccines have arrived and some distributed to each province. Not enough yet for everyone but at least it's started. Everyone seems hopeful.

We have a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning and today is going to be colder than it has been. Zero C right now but going down slightly all day.

Yes, the week will go fast when you're busy dear Hannes.

My mother makes always a lot of cookies and she will be surprised that this year I will eat them for the first time since I was a kid 😉 I think, trying my daughter's cookies has changed my taste 😁

As said before, I hope the vaccine works, and if you choose to get a shot you won't experience any side effects.

Today my wife has told me it's time to go home and I was surprised that almost 9 hours have already been over 😉

Christmas cookies and fruit cake are a big part of the season here. Today I did make the ginger men cookies with strawberry jelly in their belly. I used to make fruit cakes but haven't for a couple years.

I wouldn’t be getting the vaccine any time soon. Even if I wanted it, there is not enough for everyone yet. The other vaccine (Moderna) I mentioned from the U.S. is almost ready to be approved.

Good your wife keeps an eye and reminds you to finally leave the work behind and go home.😋

My mother used to make a similar fruitcake, which is called "Kletzenbrot", but I haven't had such in ages, and to be honest, I didn't like it that much ;)

Maybe it's better to wait until the vaccine is completely approved and save.

You're back at LMAC! I love this. Once again, I see a similarity in response to @shaka's picture between us. You will note this also, I think when you see my collage. It's the country livin', I think.
This is wonderful. I don't know which I like best: the turned-out umbrella or the goat. Maybe the goat :))

Make sure you well away from trees during lightning strike or poof you could be hit, umbrella not such a great idea inside out in a wild swirling wind either Jo.
