This week @shaka brings us a suggestive photograph of a meeting place in a city where you can feel the desire to sit on the sand. It is a beautiful photograph because from this spot you can see the river flowing, which makes the place an oasis in the city.
Esta semana @shaka nos una sugestiva fotografía de un rincón de encuentro en una ciudad en donde se percibe el deseo de sentarse en la arena. Es una preciosa fotografía porque desde ese sitio se puede ver fluir el río, lo que convierte al lugar en un oasis dentro de la ciudad.
I kept looking at that river and musing about oases. Ah, if only one could get to an oasis and enjoy the beauty of the desert!
That's what I was thinking and that's how it translated into my perception of @shaka's photo:
Yo me quedé mirando ese río y haciendo elucubraciones acerca de los oasis. Ah! ¡Si uno pudiera llegar a un oasis y disfrutar la belleza del desierto!
