Hello Hiveans,

I am taking off this opportunity to share with the community this precious caution that I believe will help us and our ecosystem to thrive and be that professional site that everyone out there will admire and be very delighted to join. The temptation to beg for up-votes befalls every newbie when they land on such a rare revolutionary ecosystem that has money rewards.

When I was introduced to the former home “steemit” 2 years ago. The first thing I was told about the ecosystem, was that it had money rewards for just mere posting. Quickly I joined and began creating content. I struggled to even make $1 a day on any of my posts. I did not have any followers to support my content. I was advised to comment more so that I make friends who can in return visit my blog and reward my content with some upvotes.

It can indeed mean to be a hustle when you are still new on this platform. With good guidance about this platform you can be helped in your journey to become a successful one. My first advice to you will be as the one I was given 2 years ago;

Engage with as many hiveans as possible in the comments section of their posts as well as on twitter. Hiveans use #tags such as #hive and #hive_blog on twitter when engaging there. This will help you make some valuable friends who will visit your blog, digest your quality content and reward it with some generous upvotes.

Kindly avoid asking for up-votes from other hiveans as such will be considered as spam on this platform. Hive is a very wonderful platform where we win together as a community. We simply need to engage as we add value to the ecosystem. The money rewards in form of upvotes will surely come later when you put in the hard work. Like any other work out there, it takes some effort to earn something this hive ecosystem.

Are you weak in posting quality content? It’s human, you can always improve with time. Simply keep reading other successful hiveans content on the trending page as you also do some other further research and reading in order to pick up some great ideas that can help you generate some good quality engaging content for the community.

In conclusion, create valuable content, engage with the community and good rewards will come to you. Rewards can come to you in many ways including delegation, upvotes, and direct transfer of some hive or hive dollars into your wallet. Just seek to up your game. Be human, avoid offensive content and stick to that common content that will keep everyone in harmony.

Then when the community was on steemit, it took me three months to get an upvote. What I have learnt from my two years here is that upvotes won't be difficult is you engage well and give the platform quality contents
