This situation becomes darker and darker day by day. If the witnesses give up the fight, then the fight of the users was futile, because the top 20 witnesses and the whole Steem blockchain will fall into the hands of Justin Sun, so the decentralized Steem blockchain will become centralized, and the value (not necessarily the price) of the Steem and of the Steem blockchain will fall. At least it will have one less (huge) advantage. Decentralization is a huge advantage.
