My Neighbor & Colleague's Marriage of 10 Years Ended and It Hurts Badly 💔☹️

A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage is what people say. But it gets more complicated and difficult to comprehend when a marriage of over 10 years get broken. Sometimes last month, the marriage of my colleague who have been married for over 10 years got broken and it was very sad. The woman also happens to be my neighbor; she introduced me to my present job. I feel so bad about it.

It is a very painful experience because the trauma that would come after it will be very difficult to overcome. I will not wish my worst enemy a broken marriage as it is not a good thing to behold at all.

This colleague and neighbor of mine are young couples that got married early and have been doing fine in their marriage for a while before they started having challenges that resulted to their breakup. They have three children - two boys and a girl. The girl is also my friend, I'm close to her more than the other guys.

The woman earns a bit more than her husband and she try as much as possible to cater for the necessary needs in the home to the best of her ability. On the other hand, the man is a promiscuous person who spends the little he earns on other women. This issues have caused a lot of problems in their family and every attempt to resolve it by the woman has been proving futile. As if that was not enough he also smokes and drink excessively. He has beaten his wife severally that it takes the intervention of the neighbors to rescue her from being beaten to a pulp. Nothing is more painful in this world when the person that is supposed to be your go-to person, somoene who pampers you is the one inflicting pain on you.

There is always a point to which one can endure pain and I guess the woman has been pushed to the walls. She moved out of the house with her children after enduring pain, unhappiness in her home for several years. I could see the pain on the eyes of the children when they were packing their loads. They do not want to leave their father and I'm sure they don't want their mother to be beaten to death. It was awkward to be around at that time because tears were dropping on their eyes and sadness is filled on their faces.

The man wasn't like that when they were courting and when they got married. He could have been hiding that part of him but it was in the light after some years.

It is so sad to see couples go separate ways. I have been seeing it in movies but it feels real and sad in reality.
